During a recent appearance on "Conan O'Brien's Needs A Friend" podcast, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin disclosed that he only eats one meal a day.

He revealed that he made this decision after he became envious of Bruce Springsteen's incredible physique during a lunch they shared last June after performing together at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Martin revealed that the 73-year-old singer was in better shape than him, and he had asked for tips, to which Springsteen shared that he stops consuming anything at 4 pm. Since then, Martin has stopped having dinner altogether and only eats his one meal earlier in the day. "I don't have dinner anymore," he said, per Daily Mail.

In 2021, the "Head Full of Dreams" singer confessed that he had only tried cooking twice over the last decade. To make matters worse, he disclosed that he started a fire in the kitchen on both occasions.

During an interview with BBC Radio 2, he humbly admitted, "I'm not a great cook. I've cooked twice in the last ten years, and both times, the Fire Brigade came." The musician made a shout-out to the North London Fire Department for coming to his rescue twice, stating, "I'd like to send a shout out to them - the North London Fire Department - who've saved me twice. Chris Martin And Ex-Wife Gwyneth Paltrow Remain Friends

Earlier this month, Martin celebrated his 46th and received a sweet tribute from his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, who referred to him as the "sweetest father and friend" in a social media post. Despite "consciously uncoupling" in March 2014 and finalizing their divorce in 2016, the couple has remained close friends and co-parents to their two children, 18-year-old Apple and 16-year-old Moses.

Martin's former partner's unusual eating routine has recently caused controversy online. During an interview on "The Art of Being Well" podcast with Dr. Will Cole, Paltrow shared her daily wellness habits, which include fasting, bone broth, vegetables, IVs, and one hour of exercise.

According to her, she eats an early dinner and practices intermittent fasting. For breakfast, she opts for foods that won't spike her blood sugar, such as coffee, followed by bone broth for lunch.

She added that for exercise, she does "one hour of movement," either taking a walk, Pilates, or Tracy Anderson workout. Additionally, she dry brushes and spends 30 minutes in an infrared sauna. For dinner, she adheres to a paleo diet, consuming plenty of vegetables to support her body's detoxification.
