A Georgia County District Attorney's office has dropped charges against Todd Chrisley's son, Kyle. The charges were for the death threats Kyle allegedly sent to his ex-wife, who's reportedly no longer cooperating.

Kyle still has assault charges in Tennessee after allegedly threatening his former boss with a knife. He's a father to 11-year-old Chloe, who's now living with her aunt Savannah after Todd and Julie were sentenced.

Kyle wasn't prominently featured in the family's reality show because of his battle with drug addiction. In 2021, his siblings claimed that Kyle was "clean and sober," and in 2022, he claimed to have been misdiagnosed.

Kyle Chrisley is no longer facing charges for allegedly sending death threats to his former wife. According to TMZ, a County District Attorney in Georgia dropped the charges because Alexus Whilby, Kyle's ex-wife, is no longer cooperating with the prosecution.

A rep for the DA's office told the publication, "After further investigation, review of the evidence and discussion with the victim, based on all facts and circumstances our office declined to prosecute the case." The death threat charges had been an issue for Kyle for several years.

Kyle is Todd Chrisley's son with Teresa Terry, his first wife, and he's been out of the limelight for many years. When he was first arrested on drug possession charges in 2019, police discovered his arrest warrant in Georgia for the threatening messages he sent to Alexus.

The threatening messages reportedly read. "(N)ot before I end you. I'm going to the streets. I will get my s**t and take care of this problem with you because if I'm not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus."

When Alexus replied that she was taking the messages as a "threat to my life," Kyle responded, "Yes Lexi it was. Goodbye." She also presented police with photos of Kyle pointing a gun at his own head. When the charges were officially dropped, Kyle expressed to TMZ that he was relieved about the development and glad he could "put that part of my life behind me for good."

However, the 32-year-old still has to answer assault charges in Tennessee after an incident where he allegedly threatened his former boss with a knife. His current wife, Ashleigh, previously disputed the charges to Page Six and said the claims are "not true."

The Chrisley family rose to fame through their reality show, "Chrisley Knows Best," which Kyle was absent from due to his drug addiction battles. He was only featured in season one of the reality show, and the family hardly spoke about him or his absence.

Todd spoke once about Kyle and said his son struggles with bipolar disorder. He tweeted, "My son Kyle is bipolar, he suffers from mental illness, he will struggle for life, Yes, the Daily mail prayed on this to sell a story."

In August 2021, Savannah and Chase spoke to InTouch magazine about Kyle and said he was "clean and sober." In December 2022, Kyle made an Instagram post claiming that his bipolar diagnosis was a misdiagnosis and that the medication had caused him "depression and outbursts."

His drug addiction struggles even caused Kyle legal troubles, such as a drug possession arrest in 2019. He was arrested and booked in an Oklahoma county jail on charges of possessing significant amounts of methamphetamine.
