Rage Against the Machine Star Tim Commerford's Wife Files for Divorce

Tim Commerford, longtime member of Rage Against the Machine, is splitting up with his wife after she filed documents to end the couple's marriage.
According to court records, obtained by The Blast, Aleece Commerford filed documents November 28 in Los Angeles County against the 50-year-old rockstar.
The bassist and vocalist, who was also a part of Audioslave, and Aleece were married in 2001 and have two sons together, Xavier and Quentin.
According to the documents, Aleece lists the date of separation as Tuesday, and she's asking for physical custody of the two children. She is also seeking spousal support from the rocker.
The family lives in Malibu, and Aleece reportedly works in the medical field, and as an AIDS activist. It's unclear what caused the split between the couple.
Commerford has mostly recently performed with the supergroup, Prophets of Rage, and WAKRAT.
