Live-Action Ariel Officially Makes Her Debut In Disney Parks

Disney's live-action "The Little Mermaid" hit theaters today, May 26, and it is already making a splash! Despite the initial backlash, Halle Bailey, who portrays Ariel in the new movie, is now being praised by critics and fans worldwide as she brings an unforgettable portrayal of the Disney Princess.

Now, Guests can even meet the live-action Ariel at select Disney Parks around the world, including Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and Disneyland Paris in France.

Disney Parks shared some of the first photos taken with the live-action Ariel at Disney's Hollywood Studios, which debuted this morning, May 26 -- the same day the new live-action "The Little Mermaid" splashed into theaters.

Disney fan page Attractions Magazine also shared an image of the new Ariel meet and greet, which features the live-action Ariel and a gorgeous backdrop, making for the perfect photo.

"First look at the Ariel from #TheLittleMermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studios," they wrote. "She welcomes us to her castle and shows us a bit of her "on land" collection."

Fans are so excited to see the new live-action Ariel being represented at the Parks as many took to the comments section to write things such as "I can't wait to meet Ariel! ❤️," and "This is wayyyyyyy too precious Omgg can't wait to meet Ariel."

Another chimed in by saying, "OMG, she's so cute!!! This half up half down hairstyle with the pearls and shells is stunning and mermaid-like. I wish I could meet her ❤️."

Walt Disney World is not the only Disney Park to have the live-action Ariel visit as she also made her debut at Disneyland Paris today.

"Ariel, from the live-action film "The Little Mermaid," made her debut today at Walt Disney Studios!" the fan account wrote, sharing a handful of photos of the new Ariel meet and greet.

If you want to meet the new live-action Ariel at one of the Disney Parks, she currently appears at three different Disney Parks worldwide. At Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, Ariel appears in a "joyful, limited-time celebration," which is an interactive "musical moment" and includes the songs "Under the Sea" and "Kiss the Girl."

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Guests can see a sneak peek of props from the film at the Walt Disney Presents Theater, which will be on display for a limited time. The live-action Ariel is also meeting Guests inside the theater.

And in Disneyland Park, Ariel greets Guests on the promenade near "it's a small world."

Disney's live-action "The Little Mermaid," starring Halle Bailey, is currently in theaters.
