Kim Zolciak is selling off her prized wigs. This is not an easy move for the reality star who never leaves the house without one on.

The Don't Be Tardy alum is in a tough spot financially, and it looks like the cracks are not only showing but also bleeding. Zolciak is selling her wigs. The ones she threatened to "cut" people over time and time again.

Zolciak would go to war for those wigs. At one point, her assistant had a routine where she lined them up weekly and took photos so Kim always knew what she had and what shape they were in.

So, to say she is likely not taking this easy is an understatement. The wigs sell for up to $2,750 a piece, with the lowest being $1,500. The wigs are selling exclusively on the family website The Biermann's Closet.

Zolciak loved a good blonde look, so unfortunately, if blonde is not your color, then keep it pushing. There are seven looks in blonde, some with highlights of honey blonde and other shades of blonde.

The description on the website for the wigs reads: "Enjoy shopping personal pieces from Kim's salon that are slightly worn or even some that are BRAND NEW." So far, one of the wigs is sold, so one less than $1,500 is hanging around.

Kim's closet also features a lot of clothing and some shoes. Her daughters, her estranged ex-husband Kroy Biermann, and her four minor kids have their closets, selling items in all price ranges.

There is no question that Zolciak is in dire financial straits ahead of her shocking divorce filing from Biermann news broke on two separate occasions that her Alpharetta, Georgia, home was in foreclosure.

After that, news broke that the couple may have been living above their means because they owed the IRS $1.2 million. By April 30, the couple had filed for divorce from one another, and initially, fans believed it was some ploy to throw the IRS off their trail.

However, the IRS is the IRS no matter what you do; if you owe them, they are coming for their coins, and divorce, separation, and things of that nature will not get in the way!

The couple's divorce is not a joke. The two are going back and forth via court filings fighting over custody of their minor kids and accusing one another of outlandish things. Zolciak filed paperwork for Biermann to be drug tested.

In exchange, Biermann filed his paperwork over his estranged wife's alleged gambling addiction. They accuse one another of being unfit parents, which is wrapped up in having no money to fall back on and being stuck in that family home together.

Becoming aware of Zolciak selling her wigs signals desperate times to her fans. Kim had always advocated for wigs, even when she was on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. She travels everywhere with heads for her wigs, even when the family goes camping.
