In 2016, Mac says an entertainment news site posted a story about a little person in NYC being charged with pimping crimes, and allegedly used a photo of him with former co-star Tiffany Pollard from "I Love New York." The headline for the article was, "Mini-Pimping!!! A New York Midget IS Charged With Pimping Out Underage Girls!!!"

Mac explains the article was extremely damaging, and caused his fans to believe he was the one being criminally charged with the sexual-related crimes.

He claims the writers of the article did not do a good job of investigating the story, and says the claims have hurt him professionally. Mac explains that shortly after the story ran, he lost jobs, and has been unable to lock something down ever since.

He also says his children had a rough time at school, and were "ridiculed, teased and ostracized" by their classmates.

Mac originally filed the case in Florida state court, but it has since moved to a federal jurisdiction. The outlet recently responded and claims the suit should be dismissed, but did not specifically address Mac's claims.
