'The Ring' Star Daveigh Chase Hit with Drug Charges, Warrant for Her Arrest

"The Ring" star Daveigh Chase has been officially charged for possession of a controlled substance and a judge has issued a warrant for her arrest.

On November 6, the actress was hit with two misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chase is facing one year in jail on the charges and a fine of up to $1,000. The judge also ordered a warrant for law enforcement to lock up Chase if they come into contact with her.

As The Blast first reported, Chase was arrested by LAPD Hollywood back in August. She was booked into a Hollywood jail and spent two hours locked up. Chase was released on $1,000 bond.

The case is still pending.

Back in November 2017, Chase was locked up after cops pulled her over after joyriding in an allegedly stolen car. She was booked on a felony charge of driving in a car without the owner’s consent.

Also in 2017, she was arrested on a warrant and questioned by police after a man was dumped outside an L.A. hospital and later died. The actress had been hanging out with the guy hours before his death and was questioned about her role in leaving him at the hospital.

Chase was never charged with any crime related to that incident, nor did police believe she played a role in his death.
