For their red carpet debut, the lovebirds twinned in black, with the English singer looking breathtaking in an elegant Celine gown designed by Hedi Slimane. The lovely number featured an open-back and one-hand strap with a criss-cross pattern, adding a sultry appeal.

The front of the gorgeous dress featured oval cut-outs across her chest and mid-riff area, teasing flashes of her milky skin. The highlight of the ensemble was the thigh-high slit that gave fans a view of Lipa's toned legs. With the dress doing all the talking, the singer kept her accessories to a minimum.

She rocked a pair of simple diamond dangling earrings with a matching bracelet. Her brunette tresses were styled into a high bun with stylish bangs, and her makeup was done with a natural touch to suit her facial features.

Gavras, a director, looked dapper in a simple black suit and couldn't keep his hands off his famous woman. The pair looked so love on the red carpet as they engaged in mild PDA sessions as the cameras flashed in their faces.

The Cannes festival was a double milestone for the couple as they made their red carpet-debut and went Instagram official. Lipa shared some steamy photos after the event where they went to support the screening of "Omar La Fraise (The King Of Algiers).

Blessing her 88.1 million followers with the big news, the three-time Grammy Award winner shared a photo of them in their hotel and another on the red carpet. She captioned the sweet unveiling, "Hier soir à Cannes avec mon cœur," which translates to "Last night in Cannes with my sweetheart."

The post was soon bombarded with over 4 million likes and approval comments from her fans. One follower wrote, "I was happy to see her with a real man … sick of seeing this Queen with little boys ( I don't mean to be disrespectful, but seriously!!! )."

Another who shared a similar sentiment declared, "Finally, she got a man on her side, not just a boy."

While Lipa and Gavras' romance is getting approval from fans, the same cannot be said of her ex-boyfriend. Shortly after the London native debuted the Greek-French film director, Hadid took to his Instagram Story to share a cryptic post.

The model shared a concerning picture of looking heartbroken and somber while using a large scarf to cover his head. He wrote, "Trying not to find and Kill him" alongside the image before adding a passive-aggressive smile emoji.

In a follow-up post, the 23-year-old was seen without the scarf and smirking as he took a mirror selfie. The accompanying caption read, "I can't breathe." He didn't stop there as the last two updates read, "Have fun" and "I hate the way you say my name."

It is unsure if Hadid's post was targeted at Garvas. However, it raised eyebrows on social media. Fans may recall that he and Lipa ended things in December 2021 after two years of dating. At the time, a source claimed the former lovers were having a rough patch due to lack of quality time.

"Dua and Anwar are taking a break from their relationship and spending time apart. They're figuring things out right now," the insider claimed, hinting there might be a reconciliation.

The news of their breakup came as a shock, given that Lipa and Anwar showered each other with sweet words on social media during their birthdays months before.
