Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were recently spotted running a half marathon over the weekend.

The athletic outing marked the second time the duo has participated in one since they were axed from their roles on ABC's "GMA3."

Recently, the network announced that they had named permanent replacements for the couple after months of speculation.

Robach and Holmes have not found new jobs since their outing, despite recent rumors that they have been "pitching" a new show to major media giants.

Per Page SixRobach and her beau, Holmes, were captured participating in the 2023 RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon on Saturday.

The duo's love for running is reasonably known, and fans can recall that their infamous affair was ignited when they competed in a similar marathon.

For the race, Holmes turned up in a gray long-sleeve top, which he rolled up, revealing the tattoo on his left arm. He wore black leggings from the famed sportswear giant Under Armour and pink running shoes.

Meanwhile, Robach donned a sleeveless pink top, black leggings, and matching footwear. Like in her recent pictures, she also sported her symbolic ring neck chain, given to her by Holmes for her last birthday.

The former "GMA3" co-anchors had on their tops tags that signified their participation numbers and appeared to be in high spirits as they ran the race.

ABC Has Named Their Permanent Replacement On 'GMA3'

News of the couple's participation in the race comes after ABC, the producers of "GMA3," announced their permanent replacement.

A roster of ABC TV hosts has been filling in for the last few months since Holmes and Robach were ousted from the company in the wake of backlash over their illicit affair.

Via an Instagram statement, ABC announced that the duo, Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan, would now star in the former anchors' roles for the foreseeable future.

"Allow us to reintroduce ourselves," read the post, "Join us in welcoming @evapilgrim and @demarcomorgan as co-anchors of #GMA3, along with @drjashton as chief health and medical correspondent."

Robach and Holmes' replacements have served ABC in other capacities before landing the new gig. Pilgrim previously worked as a weekend co-anchor on "Good Morning America" since 2018, while Morgan joined the network as a Los Angeles news correspondent in 2022.

In the meantime, Robach and Holmes have yet to land a new gig following their ousting, despite rumors of them pitching a new show recently making headlines.

Per Page Six, the duo met up with the showrunners behind "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and tried to use their "chemistry" to sell the mystery show.

"They are selling their chemistry," said a source then. "They believe their chemistry would sell because it sold at ABC."

The duo also reportedly pitched the show to other major television networks, such as CBS Media Ventures, Fox, and CNN, but did not receive a favorable response.

An insider said that the couple's talent agency, CAA, arranged the meetings, but none involved anything serious.

"I don't think the talks are serious at all," the source claimed, per Decider"CAA set up these meetings, and everybody took them. I don't think anyone is serious. I don't think there's anything there."

Being without jobs has yet to dampen the duo's spirit, as seen by their many PDA-filled moments on the streets of New York.

They have also been spotted on vacation together, including a recent trip to Mexico, where they engaged in intense PDA at various public locations.

According to reports, not only has their bond grown stronger since their affair became public, friends feel that the couple might be taking their relationship to the next level very soon.

"Friends feel they will get engaged soon because they were friends a long time before they became lovers," a source noted that Robach "sees a future" with Holmes, per Us Weekly.

"Amy hasn't felt this strong for someone in a long time. It's serious for her," the insider added. "She would marry him. They want to give it time, though. … She is genuinely happy with T.J."
