On Monday, The Blast reported on a bloody brawl that broke out between multiple Guests visiting Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World over a photo spot, forcing security and Cast Members to get involved to break it up.
Disney has banned two people involved in the fight from its theme parks.
Bloody Brawl Breaks Out At Disney World
On Monday, May 15, two families fought at Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park entrance. Disney recently installed a new 100th Anniversary sign just past the entrance gate of the theme park, celebrating 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, which seemed to be the reason behind the fight as both families wanted a photo in front of the new sign.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fight at the theme park around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, after one family reportedly stood before the 100th-anniversary sign when another family wanted to take a photo of the first family standing. The second family allegedly asked the other family to move out of the way, which is when a family member punched another member of the other family in the face.
That is when a full-on brawl broke out, with people punching, drawing blood, and ripping each other’s shirts.
A bystander, who witnessed the brawl, caught the incident on video. “Did you see how it broke out?” one Disney Guest says in the video, while another says, “I was just walking right here, and I saw it just happening.”
Two Guests Trespassed From Disney World Following Fight
According to Fox35Orlando, at least one person was medically treated at the scene following the brawl. That person reportedly did not want to press charges.
And according to Orange County deputies, two other Guests were removed from the theme park and trespassed, which means they have been banned from Walt Disney World Resort property.
Many bystanders shared videos of the incident to social media, including the account Daily Loud, which wrote, “Fight at Disney World over a picture.”

Unfortunately, this is not the first time a fight has occurred at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Last year, a brawl broke out between Guests at Magic Kingdom near Peter Pan’s Flight. The families involved threw punches, ripped one another’s shirts, and were heard screaming at one another.
In December 2022, a fight broke out during the Harmonious firework show at EPCOT, resulting in a woman’s finger being bitten off.
Disney is aware of the incidents on the property, even adding a “courtesy” section to its website, which reads, “Be the magic you want to see in the world. It would be best if you always remembered to treat others with respect, kindness, and compassion. Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.”
