Miley Cyrus recently revealed how she met her boyfriend, Maxx Morando. Cyrus and Morando first triggered rumors when they cuddled at the Gucci Love Parade runway show.

According to reports last October, Cyrus and Morando are "very serious," and her family "loves them together." The singer and actress was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth for two years after dating on and off since 2009.

During her interview for Vogue, Cyrus also discussed her viral song, "Flowers," which was rumored to be about her ex, Hemsworth. The former child star also spoke about their time together and said she "wouldn't erase my story."

Miley Cyrus recently spoke about her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, during a newly released interview with British Vogue. Cyrus revealed that they first met through a "blind date," which she explained was indeed "blind for me and not really for him."

The "Hannah Montana" star and the musician started dating "a couple of summers" back, but this is her first time talking about him. Regarding their blind date, Cyrus said she told herself, "The worst that can happen is I leave."

During the interview, Morando called Cyrus on her phone, and "Tyrone" by Erykah Badu was the ringtone. Cyrus laughed and explained that she calls the song her "boyfriend sexy ringtone" and noted that she's usually not with her phone because Morando takes his. "My boyfriend brings his phone, and I don't bring one," she said.

Cyrus and Morando first triggered relationship rumors in 2021 when they cuddled at the Gucci Love Parade runway show. Morando was also at Cyrus's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" a month later with co-host Pete Davidson.

The couple finally confirmed their relationship last April when they were photographed amid heavy PDA in West Hollywood. Cyrus and Morando made their next public appearance about a year after she released her latest album, "Endless Summer Vacation."

In October last year, an insider revealed to E! News that Cyrus and Morando's relationship was "severe." They said, "They have been together for about a year now, and Miley is pleased. Everyone in her family loves them together and thinks they mesh well." The source also shared that Cyrus is in a "good place."

Before her romance with Morando, Cyrus married Liam Hemsworth for two years, until 2020. The two film stars started dating in 2009 after starring in "The Last Song" and were in a rocky, on-again, off-again relationship for years. They eventually had a secret wedding in December 2018.

By August 2019, however, Cyrus announced that they'd decided to separate. Not long after, Hemsworth officially filed for divorce and cited "irreconcilable differences" in his filings. After that, Cyrus briefly dated Kaitlynn Carter (who used to date Brody Jenner) and Cody Simpson for about ten months.

During her British Vogue interview, Cyrus also discussed her viral song, "Flowers," rumored to be shade on Hemsworth. The "Wrecking Ball" singer revealed she wrote it after their breakup and said the lyrics are a plea for women to feel empowered and independent in similar situations.

Cyrus explained to Vogue that she initially wanted "Flowers" to have a more "1950s" style, but the final version came out very different. She said, "It was the saddest song. Yes, I can be my mistress, but you're much better. The final version is a bit of faking until you make it, which I'm a big fan of."

Regarding her tumultuous past relationship with Hemsworth, Cyrus said she "wouldn't erase my story, nor do I want it erased." The "We Can't Stop" singer said it's part of her "interesting life," which means she can "tell interesting stories."

Cyrus' latest musical project has seen her attain extreme success, especially for her hit single, "Flowers," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for several weeks.
