Without any makeup on her face, McCain donned a black wide-neck shirt and styled her blonde hair into a low ponytail. She wrapped her little girl in a crocheted pink blanket, allowing only the pink and white top she had to be seen.

Baby Clover was seen gazing into the camera while her mother looked away. From where McCain sat, fans could view a refrigerator in the corner of the room.

The black-and-white picture she posted next showed the mother-daughter duo sitting outdoors on the lawn. The TV co-host sat Clover between her thighs and held her firmly with both hands. In this pic, the doting mom complimented her outfit with sunglasses.

Meghan McCain Battles Against The Use Of Ozempic For Weight Loss

While the political commentator continues to enjoy life as a mother of two, she still channels her energy to discuss societal issues. Such was the case when the "Dirty Sexy Politics" author opened up about the pressure to use Ozempic for her postpartum weight loss in an essay.

She titled the op-ed piece, "I just gave birth, and I'm being urged to take a 'miracle shot' of Ozempic as a quick fix … It's horrifying, unfair and disturbing — and I refuse."

The public figure mentioned that she was asked by "casual friends" and "industry acquaintances" to lose her baby weight with Ozempic since it was a "new 'miracle' drug" that "can just melt the pounds away" for "a cool $1,000 a pop."

However, in the article, McCain took a stance against the drug use epidemic, noting that she was not interested because she isn't one of the "people who legitimately struggle with obesity and need Ozempic."

In her words, she wrote, "Well, let me make one thing very clear. I'm not taking it. I refuse. There's a clear moral issue here. Taking a drug is hard because swimsuit season is approaching, while others need it to stay alive. And how can this be healthy?"

In the same op-ed, the Daytime Emmy Award nominee added that she was alarmed at the rate that Ozempic is being misused as it could start undermining the body positivity movement and even affect her daughters' lives.

"This is not the world I want for them, and not the world I want for myself," the former Daily Beast writer penned before concluding, "As for Ozempic, I would rather have a few extra pounds than shoot myself up with medicine. There isn't anything worth having that is easy to get. And that goes for my health and the health of my girls."
