"Roc & Roe and I had to pull up on my Mother and spend the day with her, celebrating her Birthday!! So much Love and Fun!!" the 42-year-old captioned the moment. Despite his message explaining who the woman in the snap was, fans were shocked by Gardner's facial features.

The San Diego native's mom could easily be mistaken for Carey as the pair bore an uncanny resemblance like Mother and daughter. This discovery sent hundreds to the comment section, wondering how they never noticed the similarity during the former spouses' marriage.

Many debated whether Cannon was a mama's boy or his beauty standards revolved around his Mother. "Mom looks like an older Mariah," a person declared, while another asked: "Y'all see it too, right?"
