Taking to her Instagram account, Rizzo channeled all her emotions by uploading a carousel packed with adorable pictures and videos of the late stand-up comedian and herself.
In the first frame, the lovebirds took a lovely selfie of themselves by the beachside. Saget donned a black T-shirt which he paired with sunglasses, while the blonde-haired beauty wore a sleeveless gray top and a pair of shades.
Packing on a full PDA at the beach, the "Eat Travel Rock" TV founder sweetly kissed her husband on the cheeks while the actor had a cigar in his mouth.
A couple of other images captured the late comedian enjoying his cigar while dressed in his usual dark-themed-colored outfit. Rizzo also posted a playful video of her and her late husband enjoying a cigar while seated in an outdoor space setting. The clip was set to the tune of Christina Perri's "Human."
In another slide, the pair appeared to be enjoying themselves at a restaurant as they took a snap of a seafood platter. Opening up about the milestone, the actress penned,
"Happy birthdayπ. This truly never gets less weird or surreal. But the gratitude grows every single day. I'll never stop feeling like the luckiest person on Earth to have had the privilege of spending 6 years with this amazing man."
She continued, "Life is short and we never know how long we are going to be here. And I still take comfort in the fact that Bob used every minute on this planet to enjoy life to the fullest and make the world a better place."
The cooking personality then urged fans to join her in honoring her late husband, "To celebrate Bob on his birthday, do as he would do..tell all the people you love that you love them, preferably in a long & verbose voice text dictated by Siri. I'll celebrate him today by having a very-cold, extra dirty martini with blue-cheese olives (IYKYK)."
The actress sweetly concluded by hoping her late husband was "celebrating up there with a massive cigar (his favorite thing), a martini, and a few dozen oysters while sitting on a beach," before adding, "He would love that. Thank you all for still loving Bob so much. ππππβ€β€β€β€."
Aside from the thousands of likes her post amassed, her friends and colleagues took to her comments section to express their love for the late actor.
The Chef Sold Her & Late Saget's Home For This Reason
Rizzo's moving remembrance post comes two months after the 43-year-old revealed her plans to sell the home she and her late partner resided in while he was still alive.
The actress explained her reason for making the heartbreaking decision during an appearance on the "Tamron Hall Show." She declared that it was a necessary decision to make as it was part of the "gradual steps" she took to move on.
Admitting that the "home situation" felt strange, Rizzonoted that she learned a new thing about grief that influenced her choice to sell their home.
In her words, "I've learned about grief that something about the home that you shared sometimes can be very triggering and can be even if you had wonderful memories there, even if it was such a positive experience, which it was."
The "Unfiltered with Kelly Rizzo" star added that although Saget loved their house and it was "such a positive memory," she however realized that whenever a person passed, the home itself could become a "situation."
Rizzo, however, disclosed that she remodeled her new house in a way that Saget's presence would still be felt. "If you go into my new house, I mean there's pictures of him everywhere. I say it's like just shy of a Bob museum, but you know he's still everywhere."
