Almost everything reminds Kelly Rizzo of her late husband, Bob Saget

Kelly Rizzo Remembers Late Husband, Bob Saget's Best Meal

The Tv host took to her Instagram stories, sharing a meal recipe she would have loved to make for her spouse if he were still alive.

The clip captioned "Bob thoughts," the Tv host recounted a recent thought of the late actor. She said, "So I had a funny Bob thought a second ago, the recipe I just posted of the spring pea mint and Burrata pasta. I'm like; he would have loved this because he loved peas, like Bob was obsessed with peas.

She continued, "I made them for him like with almost every meal. He just loved peas. I'm like, oh my God, He would love this, and I'm like, wait, he hated mint, and then I found out later he said he hated lemons. So I'm like, oh wait, maybe he would have hated this."

Although the late comedian disliked mint and lemons, Rizzo explained that she had a way of tricking him into eating things he didn't like.

She recalled her unique trick saying, "But if I gave it to him and didn't tell him that mint and lemon was in it, then he would like it because I did that a lot of times. I want to trick him and tell him that stuff he didn't like wasn't there.

At the end of her narration, Rizzo sadly highlighted she missed cooking for her man. She stated, "Wish I would have made it for him."

The travel blogger detailed the recipe for the meal in a previous Instagram story post. The ingredients included pasta, fresh English peas, a handful of fresh mint, one package of burrata, 2 tbsp olive oil, and 1/2 lemon juice.

Another thing Rizzo has admitted to missing about her husband was his smile. She reminisced on his smile with a throwback photo from earlier in the month.

In the picture, the happy couple posed side by side while on the red carpet of an event. The blogger rocked red pants and a matching jacket, adding a black undershirt, while the deceased Grammy nominee wore a black suit and pants.

The duo was all smiles, and Rizzo gushed about her late partner's smile in the caption. She wrote," His smile was/is the BEST."

The 'Eat Travel Rock' Host Opened Up About Why She Sold Her And Late Husband's House

While the media personality still holds onto her man's memories, she sold the house she shared with the late Saget more than a year after his demise.

Although this may have surprised others, the media personality, who is still reeling from losing her spouse, explained her reasons for selling the house while on an episode of the "Tamron Hall Show."

Rizzo began by stating that even though she no longer lived in the former house, her new home still had Saget's presence. She said, "If you go into my new house. I mean, there are pictures of him everywhere. I say it's like just shy of a Bob museum, but you know he's still everywhere."

Explaining her decision to sell Rizzo narrated a lesson she learned from grief. She stated, "I've learned recently about grief that something about the home that you shared sometimes can be very triggering and can be even if you had wonderful memories there, even if it was such a positive experience, which it was."

She added, "I mean, he loved our house — and it was such a positive memory, but there's something about when somebody passes, the home itself can be a situation. So that's why it was so nice to get a fresh start."

Per PEOPLE, the former couple's Brentwood mansion's sale was handled by the family agent Adam Saget and was sold for $5.4 million after it was first listed for $7.765 million last June.
