Tarek El Moussa Reveals How Son Brayden Helped Heather During Pregnancy With Baby Tristan

Tarek El Moussa's son Brayden is already taking his role as a big brother seriously, and his dad couldn't be prouder!

The television personality recently opened up about a heartwarming chapter in his family's life. After welcoming his newborn son with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, in January, the proud father still remembers and cherishes the moments before his birth. 

The couple opened up about their challenging journey with conception during a recent appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show." They candidly shared their experiences, discussing their emotional struggles and the joy and fulfillment they now feel after welcoming their son, Tristan Jay.

The show's host complimented Heather's radiant happiness, to which she responded with heartfelt honesty, saying, "I am happy. It's like a dream come true." However, the conversation took a charming turn when Hudson asked about the response of Tarek's children to the new baby, to which he expressed delight, saying, "They're so good."

He went on to explain that they — especially Brayden — were incredibly excited when they found out about the upcoming arrival of their younger sibling. The "Flipping 101" star shared how the 7-year-old actively followed the progress of Heather's pregnancy, eagerly checking an app to learn about the baby's size. 

He recalled the little one's actions humorously, saying, "And Brayden, who's seven, he tracked the entire pregnancy with Heather. So he'd come home from school, come running in the house, 'Can I see the app? How big is the baby? How big's the baby?'"

The model chimed in, revealing that he would rub her belly and put his ear to her bump to hear his little brother. The former actress is excited and content with being a mother, and she has even continued to credit her stepchildren for inspiring her desire to become a mother. 

After she posted pictures capturing moments from her epic "Winterland" baby shower, she made a separate post dedicated to her stepdaughter, Taylor. In a series of snaps, the expecting mother was captured on the first slide, walking hand in hand with the 12-year-old.

They were adorned in stunning outfits and smiled widely as they made their way to the party. The 35-year-old showcased her elegance in a long shiny dress with a long slit and paired it with heels, while her little girl looked adorable in a blue mini dress. 

The subsequent slides focused on close-up shots of the duo, like when the budding teenager placed her hand on Heather's baby bump and transformed from a close side hug to a warm and tight embrace. In her caption, the TV star expressed her emotions, writing in part:

"Walked into winter wonderland hand in hand with Tay ? and it meant the world to me."

The reality TV star noted that those familiar with her knew she never thought she would have kids before emotionally adding, "having Tay and Bray in my life. They melted my heart and made me want to be a mommy." 

Recognizing the challenges of raising children, she acknowledged that it was also the world's most rewarding and fulfilling job. She joyfully welcomed "another baby El Moussa to the family ❤️."

In a heartfelt post, the Anaheim native known for her close bond with her stepdaughter opened up about their unique relationship. The Blast shared that In the image, the duo could be seen locked in an embrace, radiating joyful smiles toward the camera. In the caption, she poured her heart out, writing:

"Got so lucky with this one ? I met Tay when she was a little girl, and the second I met her, I knew my life was going to change. She melted my heart. She opened her heart to me day one of meeting her."

Continuing her heartfelt reflection, she expressed her lack of concern about others' opinions regarding her "close relationship" with the children. The message further highlighted the incredible support the "Love in the Time of Monsters" star received from them throughout her pregnancy. 

She specifically mentioned the caring nature of her stepdaughter, who expressed a desire to be informed immediately if Heather went into labor while at school.
