Heather Rae El Moussa Teases Having Baby #2, What Does Tarek Think?

Nearly three months after Heather Rae El Moussa welcomed her first child with her husband, Tarek El Moussa, the couple has opened up about their fertility journey.

The couple chatted without any restrictions about their IVF experience and what Heather planned to do with the embryos they had saved before discovering they were pregnant. The revelation occurred when the duo sat with singer and actress Jennifer Hudson and saw the former menial worker joking that she wanted to have another child as soon as possible with her partner.

Heather's road to becoming a biological mom was not easy, as she and Tarek told Jennifer Hudson on the latter's eponymous show recently. Her husband began the conversation by explaining:

"We went through the IVF process because we didn't think Heather could get pregnant. We went through the entire thing, doctors and shots, everything."

Although finding out they had gotten pregnant naturally filled them with happiness, they kept some of the embryos from their IVF process. For Heather, making that move kept the hope that they "might have another baby" one day alive for her.

The news shocked her beau, who quickly regrouped and shared, "I don't know about that. Maybe. Whatever she wants is fine."

Heather later gushed about becoming a mom while being a stepmom to the two kids her husband shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall — son Brayden James and daughter Taylor Reese. In the "Selling Sunset" star's words:

"I did not think I was going to be this obsessed with having a baby. And I have two beautiful stepkids, and they're incredible, and they made me want to have babies. It's like an obsession I never knew could happen, and the female body is the most incredible thing going through this."

While this would be her first time publicly acknowledging her stepkids' role in her becoming a mother, it would not be the first time the model would hint at wanting more kids. As The Blast previously detailed, she initially threw the idea into the mix when she and Tarek unveiled their son Tristan Jay's nursery in the days leading up to his arrival.

"We still have the embryos if we decide in the future to have more," the 35-year-old beauty began, as Tarek pretended to be shocked by the admission. Heather laughed while recalling, "He did say if we decide to have another one, it just has to be back-to-back."

"Yeah, back-to-back. I'm no spring chicken. I'm going to be 42," a gleeful Tarek quipped in return. "The Flipping El Moussas" welcomed their adorable tot on January 31 and waited a few days before sharing the news with millions of social media followers.

Sunday, May 14, was a special day for moms and mom figures who lived in the United States as it marked this year's Mother's Day. And in proper form, multiple mamas, including Heather, took to their social media pages to express love for their kin and give themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.

Per The Blast, the first-time mom uploaded a video compilation that featured nostalgic moments of herself with her beloved family from her early trimester to recent times following Tristan's arrival.

"Celebrating my first Mother's Day as a mommy this year but lucky enough to have two bonus kids who have made me feel so special every year ❤️," the real estate agent began in her heartwarming caption.

The reality television star subsequently divulged that birthing her child had "completed" her in ways she did not know was possible and even transformed her "life for the better."

She closed off her write-up by wishing the "mommy, bonus moms, grandmas, stepmoms, soon-to-be mamas, and mother-figures" an "amazing Mother's Day" celebration. Several casual fans camped in the comment section and poured out their hearts, like this one who wrote, "Being lucky enough to be a Mam and Stepmam is just the best ?." 

A second fan also wrote, "Congratulations on your first Mother's Day! Your love knows no bounds, reaching all three El Moussa babies. May this day be filled with precious moments and cherished memories."
