On Monday night, “Jeopardy! Masters” host Ken Jennings let Andrew announce to the world that he had welcomed a son while the tournament was filming. “There’s been a big change in your life since we last saw you, right Andrew?” Ken asked.

“Oh, yeah now I have a newborn son,” Andrew answered as the audience cheered. “Thanks to just everyone in the world, I guess, but especially the Jeopardy crew. I had the double blessing of going from being here on the stage to within 24 hours going with my partner and welcoming the arrival of our son.”

“I just want to say to Sarah, I love you so much. This is for you and I wouldn’t be anywhere near here if not for you. So I’m gonna have to bring something nice back for you and baby Everett," he concluded as the audience cheered again.

Amy Schneider Has A New Strategy For The 'Jeopardy! Masters' Tournament!

Although some fans are hoping that Andrew He is going to win the "Jeopardy! Masters" tournament, he is facing some stiff competition from season 38 Tournament of Champions winner Amy Schneider. In an interview with the San Francisco Bay Times ahead of the show’s premiere, Amy revealed that she has a new strategy going into the new tournament.

“With almost every game of Jeopardy!, if you lose, you’re done. This is a different scenario, like a season of a sports league. You keep playing. If you lose you pick up and take it to the next game,” she explained. “That’s going to be interesting. How do you adjust over the course of a season? How do you change your game play when you are up against James Holzhauer, versus Matt Amodio or Sam Buttrey? Does that change how you play the game? That is something Jeopardy! hasn’t had a chance to explore before.”

She said that knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses is "exactly" the point of the new tournament, which features six of the strongest players in "Jeopardy!" history.
