The artistic gymnast and the N.F.L. star said their vows twice in 2023, solidifying their love through heartwarming ceremonies. However, after a brief honeymoon, the beloved athletes parted ways.
Fortunately, their separation is not on bad terms as the football's strong safety recently signed with the Green Bay Packers team in Wisconsin. Although the Olympic gold medalist is happy for her beau, saying goodbye is a different story.

In her latest Instagram Story update, the Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree shared a sad picture of herself inside a car. The gymnast's signature bright smile was nowhere in sight as she posed with a joyless expression.
The 26-year-old's eyes appeared swollen and puffy, while her hair was disarrayed with loose strands in the air. As for why the usually put-together athlete looked dreary in her black top, the Ohio native revealed she had to say goodbye to her husband.
"Bawled my eyes out this morning when Jonathan left for Green Bay," the Laureus World Sports Award recipient confessed, adding that she was "a mess." The new Mrs. Owens' feelings differed from her initial reaction to the St. Louis native's signing.
As shared by C.B.S. News, the former Houston Texans player became a member of the Green Bay Packers as their newest safety on May 12. The 27-year-old athlete shared his joy on Instagram with pictures highlighting his move to the Wisconsin-based team.
The snaps showed the former Arizona Cardinals member signing his transfer paperwork with Biles by his side, alongside a cute picture of the pair rocking the team's jerseys and posing at Green Bay's Lambeau field.
"New beginnings. Perfect cap to an amazing week," Owens captioned the post. "Let's get to work. Year 6 on the way." The new Parkers player also received his wife's support, who celebrated the occasion on her Instagram page.
The record-breaking gymnast reposted the same pictures as her beau alongside a precious snap of the pair flaunting their diamond-studded wedding rings. Referencing their second nuptials, the Ohio beauty penned: "Slight wedding content intermission to say GO PACK GO. So proud of you, baby! Here's to new beginnings! Year 6! LFG!"
The couple's excitement was understandable as it significantly boosted Owens' career. According to reports, the St. Louis native joined the N.F.L. in 2018, serving as an undrafted free agent before joining the Houston Texans.
Last season, the 27-year-old made waves by starting 17 games where he achieved 125 tackles, 84 solo tackles, and four pass breakups, among other feats. His membership with the Green Bay Packers came amid the team's indecisiveness about re-signing their former strong safety, Adrian Amos.
Although the Wisconsin-based team has allegedly not eliminated the possibility of the Baltimore athlete's return, Owens was described as a "more affordable option." The Packers reportedly wanted a suitable pairing for their fifth-year safety, Darnell Savage, and Biles' husband seemed to be the man for the job.

This isn't the first time the three-time World silver medalist has gotten emotional about saying goodbye since legally becoming Mrs. Ownes.
After their courthouse ceremony in April, the dynamic duo (celebrated their love for the second time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Surrounded by family and friends, the adorable pair walked down the aisle in a lavish beach wedding.
Following the splendid occasion, the couple had to bid the country goodbye to begin their lives as newlyweds. However, leaving the location of her dream-like nuptials was a difficult process for Biles.
The 26-year-old shared a picture of herself crying on her Instagram Story alongside a caption explaining the sadness rocking her body. "I bawled my eyes out, leaving Cabo. We had the most beautiful wedding. I miss it already," the media personality wrote.
After promising to give fans more details about her fairytale wedding in a Q&A session, the Olympian shared a clip of herself looking happier on a plane. Although she did not reveal where the newlyweds were headed, the video flaunted the athlete's joy.
Smiling brightly, the ESPY Award winner filmed herself and her husband in their seats alongside the words: "& we’re off again." Unlike Biles' cheery vibes, the N.F.L. star looked ready to nap as he wore a neck pillow.
