'Archer' Will End With Season 14 Debuting On August 30
The 14th and final season of the show will debut on August 30 on FXX. The season will premiere at 10:00 pm EST, with the newest episodes available the following day on the Hulu streaming service. Per FXX's announcement, "Consider this the victory lap. The final season of Archer premieres at 8.30 on FXX. Next day on Hulu."
The series follows the adventures of Sterling Malory Archer (H. Jon Benjamin), a spy for the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS). The agency was previously headed up by his mother, Malory Archer (the late Jessica Walter), who has a somewhat dysfunctional relationship with her son. The same goes for the rest of the agency, which includes Archer's ex-girlfriend, Lana Kane (Aisha Tyler), the comptroller Cyril Figgis (Chris Parnell), the head of HR Pamela (Amber Nash), the eccentric office secretary Cheryl Tunt (Judy Greer), and their mad scientist tech expert Dr. Krieger (Lucky Yates).

In "Archer," the employees at ISIS are constantly at each other's throats through various inter-office shenanigans. Missions usually end with everything going wildly wrong, with outrageous, irreverent antics.
The series was created by Adam Reed and executive produced by Reed, Matt Thompson, and Casey Willis at their Floyd County Productions banner. Reed also voices Ray Gillette in the series. Following the sale of 21st Century Fox to the Walt Disney Company, the series is now owned by FX's parent company Disney, and FX Productions produce it.
As previously noted, the show said goodbye to the character of Archer's mother, Malory, in the Season 12 finale in October 2021. Walter ("Arrested Development") sadly passed away earlier in the year in March. The closing moments saw Malory with her husband, Ron Cadillac, on a beach.

Picking up in Season 13, ISIS is absorbed into another agency, the International Intelligence Agency (IIA), run by Fabian Kingsworth. With Malory gone, Fabian is looking for one of the ISIS agents to step up in a leadership role.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, production is underway on the show's final season. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is also slated to return to FXX later this summer for its recently announced sixteenth season. Also, FX's live-action drama, "Justified," is returning to the network later in July with the new revival, "Justified: City Primeval." The show will see Timothy Olyphant reprise his role as Raylan Givens for the series. THR also reports that the final season of "Archer" will debut with two new episodes airing on August 30.
"Archer" originally debuted on FX in 2009. The show has since run for 13 seasons and 134 episodes. 2016 the show won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. Walter was also twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for her work in the series.
The first 13 seasons of "Archer" are available to stream now on Hulu.
