Those insiders affiliated with the show are optimistic about viewership and reaction to the show.

When he discussed it with Variety, Disney executive Rob Mills was optimistic about the show's reception in 2020.

Mills told the outlet, "Some of the casting interviews we got were so touching. "It's such a different way of doing 'The Bachelor' because these people are just at a different place. There is an interesting thing about people who have hit the other end of the spectrum, who've lived their lives, raised their kids, widowed or divorced, and maybe some have never been in love. We thought that would be an interesting dynamic through the 'Bachelor' prism," Mills said.

"The Golden Bachelor" will air in September, following "The Bachelorette." 'Bachelor' alumna Charity Lawson has accepted the franchises rose to lead the show through its latest season!

"Bachelor In Paradise" will also air in the fall.
