'Selling Sunset's Jason Oppenheim Reacts To Wedding of Ex, Chrishell Stause

"Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause revealed a huge surprise on Instagram yesterday: she and her partner of a year, G Flip, are married!

Stause and her musician partner revealed their romance during the fifth season "Selling Sunset" reunion; the big reveal happened following a certain storyline fans had just seen in season five, Stause's split with her boss and boyfriend, Jason Oppenheim.

Oppenheim had been publicly honest about his feelings toward his ex's new romance. During the fifth season reunion, fans saw a clip of Oppenheim calling Stause "the love of my life" in a conversation with Mary Fitzgerald-Bonnet.

More than a year after the reunion, Oppenheim's tears have dried, and he is nothing more than ready to celebrate Stause's marriage!

Stause and G Flip, whose stage name is a play on their last name Flipo, snuck their marriage announcement in an Instagram reel the "Selling Sunset" star posted yesterday. The reel coincides with the release of G Flip's latest single, "Be Your Man."

"Love doesn't always go as planned... sometimes it's immeasurably better," Stause begins the caption to the reel. The reel includes a demo version of "Be Your Man."

The reel contains clips from the couple's first year of dating, and concludes with a photo from the duo's wedding! The couple's nuptials come after they ignited marriage rumors following the release of the "Be Your Man" music video. (via The Blast)

2023 has already been a big year for the duo: In January, we covered the couple's cameo appearance on "The L Word," and their one year anniversary in March.

At the time of the aforementioned "Selling Sunset" reunion, Oppenheim revealed to host Tan France that the duo still had some leftover sore spots to sort through in their relationship. The former couple has undoubtedly sorted through any remnants of heartbreak, and he wished his ex and her new spouse good wishes!

Oppenheim commented, "I am SO excited for this!! You and G are the most inspiring couple and the affection between you both is so pure. I love you two tons and am so lucky to have you both in my life. ? congrats!" As of this writing, 56 of Stause's Instagram followers have responded to Oppenheim's wishes!

Relations between the former couple have seemingly been patched for a few months now: we reported on Stause's love of playfully messing with her ex's HBO shows because she still had his password as of last September!

The duo reached out to fans to thank them for their good wishes after Stause had posted the reel.

The 33-second clip is captioned "while both of our phones are absolutely blowing up rn this is what we're actually doing" Stause adds to the video "THANK YOUUUU for all the supportive messages!!! Will get to them soon! Very busy," she ends the message with a goofy face emoji. The clip shows the goofy duo trying out different accents!

The day after Stause posted the news of her marriage, she posted the poster for the sixth season of "Selling Sunset" which concludes a premiere date! Season six is notable for being the first season without Christine Quinn and Vander.

Season six also features two new cast members, Bri Tiesi and Nicole Young.

Fitzgerald-Bonnet previously discussed her reservations about Tiesi joining the Oppenheim Group.
