Lily Collins Wedding Ring Was Trending Ahead Of Getting Stolen

Lily Collins was robbed of $10,000 worth of stuff including her wedding ring while having a relaxing day at a spa.

The actress was staying at a hotel and naturally decided to use the spa facilities as one does but all hell broke loose when she attempted to claim her belongings and found that they were not there!

Now, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials have launched an investigation into the theft. There was m sign of forced entry according to the police which makes it sound like an inside job.

Cops are reviewing the security footage provided by the hotel to hopefully get down to the bottom of this. Collins married Charlie McDowell back in 2021 and while the couple is usually private about their love, they did choose to share the news of their special day.

Collins shared stunning pictures of her intimate day marrying actor Malcolm McDowell’s son. She also shared an up-close shot of her ring in all its glory! Every girl wants to show off their jewels, but Collins’ may have gotten stolen because of it!

The Emily In Paris actress and McDowell got engaged in 2020 after dating for a year. She shared the engagement photos on Instagram that featured a stunning rocky mountain backdrop. The most hurtful part about this whole this is the sentiment behind the ring.

Not because it’s an engagement but because McDowell went the extra step and designed the ring himself with jeweler Irene Neuwirth, it was one-of-a-kind! Its described as a rose-cut diamond surrounded by a gold band that lets you see through the diamond. And from the pictures, it’s just that.

The actress's ring was abuzz on the internet last week with fans commenting on her ring nonstop. “The ring is SO cute,” wrote one follower. “What a beautiful ring❤️,” noted another follower.

Another follower wasn’t even a fan but found the ring to be stunning. “No idea who you guys are but I love this ring!! Congrats.” Fans did point out that it was weird that the actress’s engagement announcement and ring photo was showing up on their feed over three years later.

“I am so happy for them?❤️ but what is this Instagram algorithm? Why am I seeing a 3 years old post on my explore page?” inquired one follower. they were not alone. “The people saying congrats rn but this is 3 yrs old is taking me out ???.”

It didn’t end there, others were curious and some even wanted to know if something happened to Collins as to why such an old post was floating around their feed. Some blamed Instagram’s new algorithms.

Whatever the reason, Collins's wedding band is now missing and presumed stolen. Not a great way to kick off the summer.
