The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and her soon-to-be ex-husband will be forced to see one another because they will likely have to come together to battle this supposed IRS bill they racked up.
According to several news reports, Kim and Kroy Biermann owe the IRS more than $1 million. TMZ reported that legal docs had been filed and the day that the couple owed a shocking $1.1 million.
Does this have anything to do with the pending divorce? The unpaid taxes, interest, and penalties stem from 2013, 2017, and 2018. Zolciak, 44, and Biermann, 37, are accused of owing the state of Georgia $15,000 for unpaid taxes for 2018.
The colossal bill also allegedly comes from a 2016 loan the couple supposedly took out on their Alpharetta, Georgia, home. In February, the former couple defaulted on the $1.65.
Kim Zolciak Has Denied Foreclosure For A While
The mom of six was recently on the ‘gram telling her followers that her home is her home, and that is that. “I’m here until I f**king want to move out. ‘Til I decide I don’t want to live here anymore,” she said, choking back a cigarette and calling people “haters.”
Kim and Kroy had worked out some deal to stay in their home. The law office that the Biermann’s, The law office of Brock & Scott, PLLC told Entertainment Tonight that the order had been canceled
Kim’s daughter Brielle and Ariana Biermann were stopped on the streets of Los Angles during a visit and asked what was up with their home. Both girls assured the nosey “haters” that they still lived there, and all their stuff was there too.
Any news of foreclosure is just that, to them, information.
Kim Zolciak Filed For Divorce
On the heels of all the IRS drama, Kim filed for divorce after four kids and 11 years of marriage. The bombshell was dropped by TMZ, who obtained the legal docs. Kim listed the day of separation ad April 30.
Fans know Kim loves her social media, but she has yet to comment on the divorce or the IRS filing. The timing of both is suspicious to fans who think the two things have something to do with one another.
Kim has not posted on her feed in over a month and has only shared basic IG Stories like mini bottles of hot sauce. The last time she posted Kroy was over four months ago. How did we not notice this?
Kim’s timing for all of this is just wild! The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered last night, and that was crazy. Even though Kim is no longer on the show, the episode never ended. Let’s see if Kim makes another dramatic video about still being in her home.
