Kaley Cuoco Gushes About 'Hysterical' Daughter & Winging Motherhood Without Parenting Books

Kaley Cuoco masters scripts for a living, but the new mom does not play the book about her daughter!

The sensational actress welcomed her first child in March, an occasion she celebrated with her partner Tom Pelphrey. The 37-year-old keeps fans updated throughout her pregnancy and continues sharing her precious memories.

After soaking up motherhood for over a month, "The Big Bang Theory" star is opening up about her new life and how she is raising her little angel, Matilda. Keep reading for more details!

On May 4, the blonde bombshell flaunted her gorgeous figure in the cutest pink ensemble at the John Ritter Foundation's 20th annual Fundraiser in Los Angeles. Luckily, the actress paused on the red carpet to discuss her new life as a mother of one.

Gushing about her daughter, the proud parent said to ET, "She's five weeks today. Everyone's happy, everyone's good... She's thriving; she's the best!" Although the entertainer was glad to leave the house, the California native confessed that she could not leave Matilda for long.

According to the Teen Choice Award winner, she is "so obsessed" with her baby and frequently watches the little girl in awe. Beaming with love, the Hollywood star revealed her daughter inherited her comedic gifts. 

"She's amazing. She's five weeks old, and she was laughing today, full-on laughing, and I was like, 'This kid is hysterical!'" the doting mother exclaimed, stating that she wanted to share her daughter's sweetest moments with the world.

"I've become that mom who posts every freaking thing. She does something, and I'm like, 'I have to post that!'" the Young Artist Award nominee declared. Before Matilda's arrival, the actress expressed her disinterest in learning about motherhood from parenting books.

When asked if her stance had changed since welcoming her little one, the "8 Simple Rules" star stated she was doing great without academic support. "Still haven't read a damn thing," the media personality announced, adding that Pelphrey did not mind winging it.

"We find ourselves in a very realistic situation. We're just going with the flow," the 37-year-old explained. "She tells us what she wants; it's obvious; it's like one of three things."

Cuoco patted herself on the back for killing parenting without following the book route and lauded her baby girl with more praises for making the job easy. In the mother's words: 

"She's cool. She's really just awesome, and we're loving it. We're loving being at home with her. Yeah, we didn't read anything, and it's working for us."

It seems the blonde beauty would not change a thing about her new life as she described her experience as a first-time mom with three perfect words. "Special, exciting, and insane -- but in the best way," the Satellite Award recipient declared.

Weeks earlier, the "Authors Anonymous" executive producer revealed her daughter's unique personality in one of her Instagram Story updates. Cuoco made a special announcement by sharing a heartwarming picture of herself with the baby.

The excited mom disclosed that Matilda enjoyed her first bath at two and a half weeks old. This milestone seemed to have tickled the baby's funny bone as she unveiled her comedic side.

In the snap, the 37-year-old donned a messy bun with a black top while her daughter was wrapped in a baby towel. While the Yes, Norman Productions founder smiled fondly at her little girl, Matilda stuck her tongue out at the actress.

"When your first official bath gets you quite cheeky," the TV personality captioned the sweet moment. Despite having her hands complete with the adorable child, the California native did not let motherhood stop her from losing her pregnancy physique.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree has made her return to the gym just a month after welcoming her daughter. Taking to her Instagram Story, the "Cougar Club" star announced she was kickstarting her fitness journey with a cute picture.

The mirror selfie showed the mother-of-one and her fitness instructor, Ryan Sorensen, flashing peace signs for the camera. Although Cuoco claimed she was making a gym comeback, the blonde's postpartum body would make anyone envious with her surprisingly flat stomach.
