Kenya Moore has revealed her reservations about falling in love again.

The beloved television personality's return to the dating scene following her split — and impending divorce —  from Marc Daly has been riddled with cautious optimism. The former couple walked down the aisle in 2017 before welcoming their daughter, Brooklyn Doris, and eventually splitting in 2021. Moore's divorce appeal, filed in August 2021, is yet to be finalized.

Kenya Moore Admitted To Taking Things Slow In Her Love Life: 'Don't Want To Move Too Fast

Following her continued divorce drama with Daly, Moore has opened up about how her experience with the restaurant owner had changed her perspective on love and left her careful not to jump into any romance yet. In her conversation with PEOPLE, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star stated:

"I'm focusing on myself now, which includes being able to go out and date. Do I want to fall in love and have a serious relationship? I'm a little afraid of that."

She pointed out that even though she wanted "to be able to date," she did not "want to move too fast with anybody," most likely referring to the six months she and Daly dated before they married. The mother-of-one further clarified:

"So that's why I think it's nice to have someone you really like, but it's also nice to have options so you can just not feel there's a pressure for it to become something."

Later in the interview, the "No Turning Back" star shared her hope about finding true love again, noting that "it will present itself when it's time." Despite that, she was not open to feeling "like so many people feel when they're single, and they're of a certain age," especially concerning the "pressure that society or other people put on you."

This would not be Moore's first time publicly admitting her return to the dating scene; The Blast reported last September that her "standstill" divorce proceedings were not a stumbling block for her love life. Speaking to Andy Cohen during the "RHOA" reunion, the former Miss Michigan USA said:

"I'm definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet."

As for the stall on her divorce, the "Meet the Browns" actress explained to Cohen and her co-stars, "The holdup to divorce doesn't come down to alimony or child support. He's not asking for anything at this point. It's just at a standstill. So until we get a trial date or settle, it will still go on."

It is worth noting that Moore's marriage dissolution papers claimed that she and Daly had been stuck in a "bonafide state of separation" since September 2019. The documents added that the union was "irretrievably broken," with no hopes of them getting reconciled.

The pair's marital problems began with the strange dynamic that saw both parties living in separate places during their marriage — the Kenya Moore Haircare boss lived in Atlanta with their now-four-year-old daughter, while her ex-beau resided in Brooklyn, where he owns — and runs —  his Caribbean restaurant.

With the dissolution already in the pipeline, it became evident that Moore's many attempts to restore the relationship to its original state failed woefully.

The 'RHOA' Star Got A Special Birthday Gift From Her Estranged Man

Despite their unending back and forth over their divorce settlement, Daly did not hesitate to shower his ex with love during her 52nd birthday. The Blast observed that his former wife had uploaded a pic set to the famous birthday song by Stevie Wonder, displaying a pink orchid placed in a black vase on her Instagram Story, along with the write-up:

"THANK YOU FOR MY FLOWERS BROOKLYN AND MARC❤️."

The Moore Vision Media founder's clip also showed the large windows and high ceiling in her living room, with white and grey couches adorning what appeared to be the sitting area.

In addition to the floral arrangement, the "Money Ain't a Thang" video vixen also received a social media shoutout from the "Real Housewives of Dubai" star's Lesa Milan, who wrote, "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" on her own Instagram Story.

Others who marked the big day in Moore's honor were her "RHOA" co-stars and friends, like Cynthia Bailey, Eva Marcille, Sheree Whitfield, Kandi Burruss, and Monyetta Shaw-Carter.
