‘American Chopper’ Star Paul Teutul Sr. Reaches $30,000 Deal for Return of Prized Corvette

"American Chopper" star Paul Teutul Sr. will finally get back his beloved Corvette after nearly a year of battling it out in court for the muscle car.
On January 23, court documents were filed in the reality star's bankruptcy case revealing he settled his longstanding beef with the custom car company, JTM Motorsports.
Per the deal, Teutul will put $30,000 in an escrow account that will be paid out to JTM following receipts turned over proving the costs for the work on the vehicle.
As The Blast reported, Teutul brought the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in for modifications last August and promised to exchange air time on one of his featured television shows for the work done on the car. Teutul allegedly promised to get the shop exposure on Discovery’s “Street Outlaws” and “American Chopper,” which rebooted online earlier this year and will debut back on TV in May. However, when the time came, JTM did not get the agreed upon exposure.
Neither party admits any fault or wrongdoing in the case and Teutul will pick up his Corvette later this month. JTM agreed to waive all the storage fees they were originally seeking.
Last year, 68-year-old Tuetul filed for Chapter 13 in New York claiming he had $1,801,729 in assets and liabilities totaling $1,070,893.44. The bankruptcy is ongoing.
