Family Risks Safety By Running Across Disney Parade Route, See The Video

A mother risked her and her daughter's safety when she decided to run across the parade route at Magic Kingdom -- as the parade was going on.

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade runs at Magic Kingdom daily and features gigantic parade floats and Disney characters on foot as they walk through the Park, waving to Guests. During a recent performance, a mother broke the rules as she passed over the barrier tape and into the parade route.

Another Disney World Guest broke the rules as she pushed her child in a stroller over the tape on the ground, which is there to show Guests where they can stand during the parade for their safety, and through the parade floats.

The incident was caught on video, which shows the mother laughing as she ran through the street and passed Mrs. Incredible from the Disney-Pixar movie "The Incredibles." Mrs. Incredible was not happy as she shaded and side-eyed the Guest.

The tape is on the ground to let Guests know where they can safely stand to watch the parade. Crossing over the white video, let alone across the entire street during the parade, is against the rules. Not only did this mother put herself in danger, but she also put her daughter in danger and seemingly laughed while doing so, not taking the rules seriously.

The Walt Disney World website clearly states the following as a prohibited activity, "Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Walt Disney World Resort or any part thereof." This Guest engaged in this activity as they crossed over the safety tape barrier and ignored the safety rules, putting herself and her daughter in danger of the parade. It is unclear if the Guest received any punishment or ban or if she was let off with a warning.

This is not the first time The Blast reported on Guests breaking the rules at Walt Disney World. Last month, two Guests visiting EPCOT at Walt Disney World decided to cool off by laying down in the water of a fountain pool inside the theme park — something off-limits.

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade runs weather permitting daily at Magic Kingdom, featuring beloved Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and more. The official Disney World website describes the parade as follows:

Sing and Dance with Friends! Join us along the parade route—from Frontierland through Liberty Square down Main Street, U.S.A.—as an exciting lineup of Characters embark on a journey through park.
