New Zealand actor Karl Urban, who appeared in 2009’s “Star Trek,” also had a small appearance in 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.” He is one of the Stormtroopers lining the walls when Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren walk by.

Urban is the one who says the line “Knights of Ren” to distinguish him from the other Stormtroopers. In an interview with Digital Spy, Urban said that he had a “really fun” day on set, adding, “It’s been one of my life-long goals to be a Stormtrooper, so I can tick that off now.”

Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has worked with director Rian Johnson on over half a dozen projects, so it’s no surprise that the “Knives Out” director would want to put him in a “Star Wars” movie.

After Rose and Finn park their shuttle on the beach on the planet of Canto Bight, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the alien Slowen Lo, who is complaining about the shuttle being parked illegally. That wasn’t his only brush with the galaxy far, far away, however. He later went on to lend his voice to the “Star Wars: Visions” episode “Tatooine Rhapsody.”

“Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis secretly appeared in a galaxy far, far away… but not in a movie! He appeared in the first season of “The Mandalorian” at the end of the episode titled “Chapter 7: The Reckoning” and the beginning of the following episode.

Sudeikis actually climbed into the costume to play a Scout Trooper and ended up grabbing Grogu from Kuiil. He is later killed by IG-11 in the following episode. IG-11, of course, is voiced by Taika Waititi, who is still working on the script for his own “Star Wars” movie.

What do LizzoJack Black, and Christopher Lloyd have in common? They all appeared in a season 3 episode of the “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian.” Although most fans seemed okay with Christopher Lloyd's cameo, the appearance of Jack Black and Lizzo in a galaxy far, far away created quite a bit of controversy.

In an Instagram post shortly after her appearance, Lizzo revealed that she has been a fan of the franchise from a very young age. “When I was a young girl my dad introduced me to Star Wars like a rite of passage. The trilogies are his favorite movies and quickly became mine,” she wrote.

“When Jon Favreau called me and offered the role of The Dutchess I cried all day wishing my dad was still with us cus he’d be so proud,” she continued. “Star Wars was a dream I never thought was possible— but thanks to Jon, Bryce, and everyone in the galaxy I am now part of the ever-expanding saga of the stars.”

“I am in honorable company and forever grateful. This is The Way…. and May the Force be with you,” she concluded. “Star Wars” alum Mark Hamill was one of the first to comment, writing, “Lucky to have you as a part of our family. Welcome!” alongside a red heart emoji.

Some fans might not even realize it, but the maker himself, George Lucas, has a cameo in “Revenge of the Sith.” He appears on Coruscant as Baron Notluwiski Papanoida, although it’s possible fans don’t recognize him in the blue face paint.

He can be seen talking to Chi Eekway in the Coruscant opera house. Eekway, of course, is played by Lucas’ daughter, Amanda. Although it’s just a small cameo appearance, Papanoida would later have an important role in the animated “The Clone Wars” episode “Sphere of Influence.” Although the character still looks like George Lucas, the character was voiced by Corey Burton.
