Meghan Trainor is still trying to take back the rude thing she said about teachers during an episode of her "Workin' On It" podcast about a week ago. She started her most recent podcast episode with a second apology for teachers.

During her previous podcast episode with Trisha Paytas as a guest, the "Made You Look" singer made insensitive comments about teachers. She later apologized, but much of the internet wasn't accepting the apology.

After all the backlash started following her podcast episode where Trainor says, "F teachers," many took to TikTok to express their feelings. Tons of videos began filling the FYP of TikTok of teachers stitching her podcast and explaining why they were so upset.

Trainor then shared an apology video on TikTok, but many weren't accepting her words as sincere.

Now nearly two weeks after that podcast episode went live, the author of "Dear Future Mamas" is apologizing again during her most recent podcast episode.

The "I Am Your Mother" singer began her newest podcast by saying she first wanted to address what happened during the previous podcast when Trisha Paytas was her guest.

"I wanted to apologize again to all the teachers I may have offended or hurt. I've lost a lot of sleep and cried myself to sleep a lot. Not because of internet hate, I'm used to that, but thinking, or wondering, or knowing that I hurt so many innocent people with my words when I got heated in a conversation about a specific teacher that hurt her feelings," she said.

"I want you to know that I'm on this platform, and I hear and recognize how powerful my words are, and I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, especially teachers."

The singer then explained that not only was one of her parents a teacher, but she also aspired to be a teacher.

"I love teachers. My dad was a teacher. I wanted to be a teacher, but I couldn't imagine nowadays what it's like to be a teacher to go to school every day in fear. And they're so underappreciated, underpaid, they go through so much, and I hope you know I'm not on this platform trying to spread hate to all teachers," she said.

"I love all of you and work on myself daily. We're working on ourselves to be better people. I'm trying to spread love, happiness, and joy and will work on myself moving forward. I'm so sorry, there are no excuses for my words, and I hope someday you all can forgive me in your own time, and I will try to be better every day. And thanks for calling me out, and thanks for helping us."

After sharing her initial apology in a video on TikTok days after the podcast went live, many teachers left comments and created their videos in response. The overall feeling was that not many accepted her apology and were offended by her words and attitude on the podcast.

The apology video received 4.5 million views and 34,000 comments.

"As a kindergarten teacher who already feels unappreciated, it was harsh to hear your words. We lay our lives on the line for our kiddos," one teacher wrote in the comment section.

One person wanted to know how these words made it through final edits. "My honest question though…how did it get through editing and final approval if it was said only in a heated moment??"

Another person left a comment that was more of a fight-fire-with-fire response to being bullied by a teacher. "Some of us teachers were also bullied by teachers growing up. Which is a big reason why many of us choose to become teachers."

TikTok account, Meghan Trainor. Simp shared the second apology on their page, and many people left comments about the new apology.

"Not genuine. When you say 'I'm sorry IF I hurt you,' you're not sorry," one person commented. Another added, "Apologies are appreciated, but actions speak louder than words. Editing it out would have prevented all this anguish on both sides."

Others asked why the podcast hadn't been removed online, and others wondered how the comments made it through the editing process.

One follower pointed out why many may have trouble accepting her apology, saying, "She said it, watched it, edited it, posted it, then tried to apologize. She knew what she was doing!"
