Abby De La Rosa is opening up about the cons of being one of Nick Cannon's women.
The DJ joined the multi-hyphenate star's harem in 2021 after birthing the entertainer's twin sons, Zion and Zillion. A year later, the former radio personality welcomed a daughter with the "Drumline" actor in November.
Despite being one of six women to have kids with the TV personality, the social media influencer seems unbothered by her beau's productive interests. However, the caramel-toned beauty has a bone to pick with Cannon's overzealous fans.
Abby De La Rosa Details Terrifying Experience With A Nick Cannon Admirer
In a recent heart-to-heart session with fans on her Instagram Story, De La Rosa got candid about her life as one of the "Gigolo" rapper's multiple women. Sharing a video with her son, the entertainer addressed the wrong side of fame.
In the clip, the mother-of-three filmed Zion as she pushed the toddler in a shopping cart. The curly-haired boy looked adorable as he curiously glanced at the grocery shelves, dressed in a Nike-illustrated orange top and gray joggers.
The DJ could be heard in the background, trying to get her son's attention by urging him to say "hi" to the camera. The little boy spared his mother a glance before continuing his window shopping, entranced by the goods surrounding him.
Although Zion's cuteness was enough to melt viewers' screens, De La Rosa's heartbreaking revelation erased all traces of sweetness from the post. In her caption, the media personality recalled a frightening experience that made her weary of stepping out with her kids.
The influencer began by explaining that she took her son out without his brother because she had previously spent quality time with Zillion, whom she affectionately dubbed "Zilly." According to the mother, Zion had a harder time around people, and a particular female fan did not help the situation.
"The last time I took Zion to the store, some lady stopped us and tried to grab him. It's scary for me at times taking the kids out because Ppl love their dad and want to show love by coming up to our children," De La Rosa revealed. Judging by her story, Zion's curious gaze around the grocery shop might have been the boy looking out for strangers.
Recalling how the female fan's unsolicited interaction made her feel, the former radio host wrote: "Although I appreciate it, it scared the hell out of me and makes these outings for the kids and I few and far between."
"But when I get the courage to do em, I try to enjoy every moment without the gut-wrenching anxiety," the mother-of-three concluded. In a follow-up Q&A session with fans, a follower expressed concern over the DJ's distressing experience.
"Omg, someone tried to grab your baby!!! I'm so sorry. How scary. Stay safe, mama. Hugs," the individual penned. Responding to this person's sweet message, De La Rosa revealed that such incidents had occurred in the past.
After thanking the fan for their well-wishes, the DJ noted that she was "extremely private" about her children's lives despite being open about her personal situations. Addressing the problem, the former Real 92.3 radio host wrote:
"If you've been following me, then you'd know that I used to take the twins everywhere, especially to their classes and things. Unfortunately, situations have occurred since where now I just want to keep us at home."
"It's wild, but I have such an amazing family that help me in keeping the twins so busy and happy," the DJ declared, ending her message with a white heart emoji.
Inside The Special Relationship Between Abby De La Rosa & Nick Cannon
Weeks earlier, The Blast reported that the "Wild 'n Out" star gushed about his love for De La Rosa following news of their partnership on the new radio show, "The Daily Cannon."
While promoting the program on Howard Stern's eponymous show, the multi-hyphenate star revealed that the DJ was the natural choice for a co-host as the pair met years ago in a "radio space."
Raving about their longtime relationship, the TV personality noted that he fell in love with the former radio host's energy and wanted her to serve as the DJ for his new show. Recalling their interaction he said, "She was working at iHeart out here in LA, and she was just–I had never seen a radio personality and an actual DJ, and she had her show, and I was like 'whoa she’s so dope.'"
As a result, he was determined to have her as his partner on the new radio show. In his words, "When I started my new show, I was like the only DJ I want is one of the mothers of my children."
