Justin Bieber Heartbroken Over Wife Hailey Bieber's Struggles
After Hailey got candid about her mental health and facing her "hardest moments" in 2023, a source revealed to Us Weekly that her husband, Justin, was heartbroken watching his wife struggle emotionally.
"It breaks Justin's heart to have seen Hailey struggling emotionally the way she has been these past few months," the insider said, adding, "He loves his wife more than anything and knows she has a heart of gold."
Hailey revealed that she faced "some of the saddest, hardest moments" of her adult life shortly after her fan-fueled feud with Selena Gomez.
The 26-year-old hinted at the alleged rivalry with Selena on her Instagram story, where she confessed that she sometimes resorts to humor to mask her pain. "I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it's easier than admitting I'm having a hard time," she wrote.
She admitted that she has been emotionally "fragile" following the rumored feud with Selena, who has publicly defended her.
"But truthfully, since 2023 started, I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I've ever had in my adult life, and my mind and emotions have been fragile, to say the least," Hailey shared.
Hailey Bieber Urges Fans To 'Be There For One Another
In February, rumors circulated among fans that the long-standing feud between Hailey and Selena had reignited. This speculation was fueled by Hailey's now-deleted TikTok video, which also featured her pal, Kylie Jenner.
Fans were convinced that Hailey and Kylie were mocking Selena's eyebrows in the video clip, but both women denied the rumors.
Hailey encouraged people to be there for one another in her post, writing, "And I know so many other people feel the same way I feel, so just know you're not alone. That being said, let's keep being there for one another. Let's be there for loved ones, friends, family, and strangers."
"Let's just be there for people.. let's keep showing up for each other even when it's hard. We're better together," she added.
Selena Gomez Shows Support For Hailey Bieber
Last month, Hailey contacted Selena, requesting that she use her massive Instagram platform with over 403 million followers to discourage fans from sending her death threats.
Responding to her request, Selena slammed her fans, urging them to treat Hailey kindly. She said, "Hailey Bieber contacted me and told me she had received death threats and such hateful negativity.
"This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and want this all to stop," the "Selena + Chef" star concluded.
In return, Hailey publicly thanked her for taking a stand against the escalating tension between their respective fan bases.
Hailey Bieber And Selena Gomez Follow Each Other On Instagram
Rumors of tension between the two women began in 2018 when Hailey got engaged to Justin, who was previously in a long-term relationship with Selena.
Justin and Selena had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship for eight years before finally breaking up for good in March 2018, just a few months before Justin proposed to Hailey.
However, it appears that the supposed feud between Selena and Hailey has been resolved, and any tension that may have existed between them has been put to rest, as the two women now follow each other on Instagram, which is often seen as a sign of goodwill in the world of social media.
