The Rhode Skin founder's post came days after the socialite came under fire for eating a chicken wing. It happened that the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals organization (PETA) attacked the 26-year-old in what fans have described as a "bullying" post.

During an episode of the Vogue model's new cooking show, "What's In My Kitchen," the blonde bombshell shared her signature chicken wing recipe. Following the program, the nonprofit foundation shared an image of Bieber eating the chicken alongside a snap of a baby chick.

Imprinted on this picture were the words: "Hey, Hailey! Meet your meat! Chicks like him need their wings. YOU DON'T." PETA also slammed the Arizona native in the post's caption by writing: "Severed chicken limbs are not yummy, @haileybieber."

Although the organization typically receives support for its vegan promotions and fight against animal cruelty, it won no hearts for dissing the "Boyfriend" singer's wife. Many called out PETA for "bullying" the model, while others accused them of targeting the 26-year-old because of her alleged feud with Gomez.

Addressing the escalated situation, the "Same Old Love" artist revealed that the model had reached out to her, unable to stomach the public's venomous hatred over their alleged quarrel. The multi-hyphenate star wrote:

"Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying."

The Glamour Women of the Year Award winner concluded her petition by writing, "I've always advocated for kindness and want all of this to stop." Following Gomez's post, the blonde beauty broke her silence and finally addressed the matter on her IG story.

Dropping a lengthy message, the 26-year-old appreciated the Disney alum for speaking out about the issue, claiming that the duo had been discussing the best ways to resolve the situation for weeks.

"The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved, and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful," Bieber noted that social media had divided the masses as things were taken out of context.
