Cara Delevingne Is The Latest Recruit On The Cast Of 'American Horror Story'

Cara Delevingne has joined the cast of the long-running series, "American Horror Story."

Fans of the show and Delevingne now have something else to look forward to, as filming for its latest season is set to begin next month. The actress will undoubtedly stun in it as "AHS" has earned the spot for being one of FX's most successful and outstanding series, airing for 11 seasons since 2011 and winning 16 Emmy Awards.

Delevingne has become the latest celebrity to be cast on the hit show following the shocking addition of Kim Kardashian to its upcoming season, Deadline has reported. Even though production has been mum on the character the English model will play, Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy will continue as executive producers for the highly-anticipated season.

Halley Feiffer has been hired as a singular writer and new showrunner. Early observations show that season 12 will be based on the yet-to-be-released thriller novel "Delicate Condition," by Danielle Valentine.

The season, officially titled "American Horror Story: Delicate," would be the first time the horror series would be based on a book. Over the last 11 years, the show has had many subtitles, including "Murder House," "Coven," "Freak Show," "1984," "Roanoke," "Apocalypse," "Double Feature," and "NYC."

As for Kardashian's involvement with the show, The Blast noted that a few notable figures, including "AHS" actress Patti LuPone, slammed the decision. The "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" star had used the opportunity of being on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" to air her grievances against the move.

After claiming she "does give a damn" and disliked the casting choice, LuPone stated that the Skims founder was taking the chance away from full-time actors, emphasizing her point with a Noël Coward song.

"Excuse me, excuse me, Kim. What are you doing with your life? Don't get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington," the "Beau Is Afraid" screen goddess said. "Encanto" voice actor John Leguizamo, who was also Cohen's guest, added, "Whatever she said, I double the emotion."

Despite the criticism, Kardashian has quite the acting resume, totaling 14 appearances in multiple television shows and movies. She began her career in 2008 when she played Lisa Taylor — one of the four main lead stars — in the parody film, "Disaster Movie."

She has also appeared in minor roles on "CSI: NY," "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor," "Ocean's 8," and "Deep in the Valley."

Delevingne has continued working on herself, occasionally changing her physical style to reflect her sobriety journey. Per The Blast, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress recently unveiled a new hairdo that featured a big cut.

As seen in the picture her celebrity hairstylist, Riawna Capri posted on Instagram, the "Life in a Year" star's tresses had become shorter and blonder, with a side part that pronounced the curls. Sporting a serious look at the camera, the "Nothing Came to Me" video vixen donned a black tank top under a pink blazer that paired perfectly with her eyeshadow.

She added a touch of mascara, eyeliner, and nude lipstick to the look and opted for a gold Cuban link chain and a silver necklace as her accessories. Under the image, Capri gushed:

"Look who else is going short for summer, This Beauty✨ Who's next!?! ??‍♀️ I'm ready with my new #901shears! ?.”

Compliments for the hairstylist and Delevingne immediately began flooding the comment section, with this netizen effusing, "OH MY GAWD! She is my girl crushhh and you crushhhed this."

"Soooo good," another person commented, as a third wrote, "Riawna you do anything you want you set your mind to it Always ? Queen." A fourth Instagram user admitted they were "in love" with the look, and a fifth claimed it was the "best" the "River Water" vixen had "ever looked."

A sixth fan chimed that the "Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne" presenter's "cut and color were nicely done!" Others praised the Mulberry contributor for looking "cute," "gorgeous, "stunning," and "beautiful."
