Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expanding their stronghold in a very exclusive part of Los Angeles after acquiring another property located right in their own backyard.

According to property records obtained by The Blast, Kanye and Kim purchased the 2,700 sq ft mansion that sits adjacent to their existing mansion in Hidden Hills.

The 3-bed, 3-bath mini-mansion was built in 1957, but the reason Mr. and Mrs. West were interested in the sale probably has to do with the fact it sits on a 1.5 acre lot. The stars have slowly been expanding their $60 million estate, including constructing a massive pool in the backyard.

According to the grant deed, Ye's trust, Blue Spruce, was granted ownership of the property, and it was recorded on February 4.

The newly purchased home was formerly owned by the late author and screenwriter, Richard Matheson, who famously wrote "I Am Legend," as well as 16 episodes of the "Twighlight Zone," including the famed, "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

Kimye's expansion could have something to do with the myriad of events being hosted on their property lately. Aside from numerous parties and celebrations, the Wests have been holding a regular Sunday Service featuring tons of musicians and performances centered around spirituality.

Kanye and Kim also made the buy right before Kanye surprised Kim with a $14 million condo in Miami. The stars actually just backed out of that sale, claiming a lack of privacy, but it's probably a blessing in disguise as they'll have their hands full sprucing up their new piece of real estate.

The current West-Kardashian compound already features a 2-story playroom, gym, basketball court, hair salon, full spa with facial and massage room and a fully built out music recording studio. There is also a full size movie theater.

It's unclear what Kim and Ye will call their new empire, but Westeros is already taken.
