Wedding Rumors About Mariah Carey And Brian Tanaka
Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka triggered engagement rumors when the singer shared a video from their family's Easter festivities. The clip showed Carey blowing a kiss and holding a bunny, which made the large diamond ring on her finger quite obvious.
Sources close to the iconic singer revealed to RadarOnline that the longtime couple is getting hitched soon, which might be this summer. Carey and Tanaka have been dating since 2016, shortly after she and James Packer ended their engagement. They split once, earlier on in their romance, but soon got back together.
Before Packer and Tanaka, Carey married actor and comedian Nick Cannon for eight years; regarding the wedding rumors, Music biographer Mark Bego also claims their wedding is no longer far off. He said, "Mariah never looks better than when she's happy. The air is thick with buzz about an impending wedding!"
She's Lost A Lot Of Weight
Another insider shared that Carey's fitness transformation makes her look like "she's lost about ten years." They claimed that the "Always Be My Maybe" singer has "never looked better!"
A weight-loss expert, Dr. Stuart Fischer, also commented on Carey's new look. He spoke about a photo he saw of the singer in Los Angeles and said she "looks excellent and looks like she's been working out." He also speculated that Carey had cut out drinking and junk food to get such good results fast.
Mariah Carey Scrapped Lawsuit Plan Against Nick Cannon
Earlier this month, RadarOnline confirmed that Carey had decided not to continue with her primary custody suit against Cannon. The "We Belong Together" singer had threatened her ex with a full custody suit of their twins, Monroe and Moroccan. This was despite their existing joint custody arrangement agreed upon during their 2014 divorce.
A source explained that Carey changed her mind because the 11-year-old twins "are usually with her anyway." However, she wanted Cannon to give their kids more attention, especially with his growing family.
At the time of the initial suit threat, an insider the news outlet, "She wants to put him on notice that he can't just flit in and out of their lives while he attends to his other children. And she wants legal standing as the twins' primary caregiver."
In December, Instagram model Alyssa Scott gave birth to a baby girl for Cannon, making 12 kids from six women. Asides from Carey, the TV personality also has kids with Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, Brittany Bell, and LaNisha Cole.
Bryan Tanaka Wasn't Happy About Mariah Carey's Decision
An insider shared with RadarOnline that Tanaka was extremely unhappy about Carey's decision to scrap the suit. They claimed that the 39-year-old was the person who suggested the idea to Carey in the first place.
The source said, "Bryan wanted her to go for full custody so he could get some space from Nick. But she hasn't pulled the trigger, and Bryan's understandably upset." They explained that the singer's relationship with Cannon frustrates Tanaka endlessly and is part of why he hadn't proposed yet.
The source added that Tanaka is "tired of feeling like second best to Nick" and doesn't like the vibe the former couple still has. They said, "Mariah and Nick are on the phone constantly, and they get affectionate whenever he comes to town to see the kids. Mariah dislikes Bryan being around when Nick's there, which fuels his paranoia."
