Popular TikToker, Mason On The Mic, Joins Nick Cannon's New Show

Mason Moussette, or Mason on the Mic as her social media followers know her, is about to embark on a new exciting work adventure. She was chosen to be part of Nick Cannon's new morning show team on "The Daily Cannon" after being fired from her radio job a few months back.

The popular TikToker has made it no secret that she lost her job back in January and was trying to find a new one when she was asked to be a part of the new morning show on Amp, the live radio app from Amazon. Cannon even credited seeing her TikTok videos when deciding to bring her on the show as a cohost.

Moussette announced to her more than 1 million TikTok followers that she was let go from her job in early January. In her normal comical style, she told a humorous story to give the news.

"I got let go from my job today, and besides trying to figure out ooh, how am I gonna pay my bills, I just keep thinking over and over again about my Uber ride home from the airport on Saturday," she began her upsetting news. "My Uber driver was asking what I did, and you know, I told him that I was a morning radio host in Dallas and he was so excited to have me in the back of his car and was so excited to listen to me this week."

She continued by saying she feels he will think she was just lying to him, which put a comical spin to her bad news.

Many videos followed her unemployment journey and her responses to some standout comments she's received. And then on April 4, she shared good news about finding a new job.

"I have really, really, really big news that I have been keeping inside for months and I have been just wanting to share it," she said. "I got a job. And not just any job, an amazing job with Nick Cannon, cohosting a radio morning show on Amazon's app Amp with Nick Cannon."

Moussette's followers dropped into the comment section to share their messages of congratulations.

"Unique pregnancy announcement, congratulations ?," one follower humorously wrote. "Don’t know you know you, but this makes me so happy for you. You give good voice sister. Well done," added another.

Another follower wrote, "Just thinking about you today. So happy you are opening a new chapter!!!! You deserve it. And that squeal is a perfect start."

Cannon recently shared a video on Instagram that introduces everyone to his cohosts of the new show. He started off by introducing DJ Abby De La Rosa and Courtney Bee from "Wild 'N Out," and then got to introducing Moussette.

"And then a wonderfully found gem and now friend, I actually saw all her TikTok videos with hundreds of millions of views and said, 'Yo, she's a dope writer, she's a dope voice, and she's amazing at radio,' Mason Moussette, aka Mason on the Mic."

Moussette has also been sharing information about the new show on both TikTok and Instagram. She recently shared a sneak peek at the studio. See video HERE.

"The Daily Cannon" begins Monday, April 24 at 9 a.m. EST, and airs every Monday through Friday live on Amp.
