Lisa D'Amato Reveals More 'Toxic' Behavior From ANTM And Tyra Banks

America's Next Top Model winner Lisa D'Amato posted a shocking clip on social media about the abuse she suffered on the show.
Lisa D'Amato Felt Like An Experiment
The former model shared a scathing video on her social media page regarding the once-popular show that went on a quest to find models they may not have stumbled upon via regular channels. She slammed Banks and the show's producer Kevin Mok for the poor treatment of all the women, but only speaks to her account.
The 42-year-old won the 17th season, the all-star cycle of the show, and admits even though she faced abuse during her first time on the show in the fifth season, she was ready and "back for revenge" but will never forget the "insane amounts of trauma" she experienced.
D'Amato, a Los Angeles native, compared her experience in both seasons of the show to the 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment.
Lisa D'Amato Has Been Exposing ANTM For Years
D'Amato has regularly been dropping bombshells about the defunct reality show on her TikTok account and, until recently, her IG account, which she has since made private after the prison accusation this week.
But, the former model is making it clear she felt abused and taken advantage of and even has an entire segment on her TikTok where she watches old episodes and explains what was happening behind the scenes at the time.
The 20th anniversary of the show recently approached, and Hulu did a special where they brought some of the girls back to discuss their time on the show. It wasn't all bad, but they did accuse the show of making people participate in "culturally appropriated" shots.
D'Amato expresses how unhappy she was with the special because they blamed its bad parts on "cultural times" and "bad edits." She also accused Banks and Mok of having a "heavy hand" in putting the unique together and taking "no accountability."
Lisa D'Amato Is Spilling The Beans
Lisa, now a pole instructor with OnlyFans, posts quite a bit, slamming the show. In part 4 of her criticizing at the beginning of March, she wrote:
"Dare you to watch part 1 again and see it differently. It's been horrifying being called an "old alcoholic bish" for 15 yrs in 180 countries, and I don't know how many languages. Hi! My name is Lisa D'Amato, and I'm back for Avenges…again. Please stop calling me names and every other item contestant around the globe and every reality tv star around the planet. Stop abusing as a viewer. Stop abusing in production. It's slander. I'm fighting back. Someone has to. Let's go"
She edproceeded to spill more tea about being triggered and having her abandonment issues played on by the producers after they probed her to find out those details to use against her. Thankfully, D'Amato is not the only former contestant to come forward with negative information about the show.
Jenna Turner from season 24 felt shamed by Banks, who, honestly, couldn't stop talking about when she modeled for Playboy. Adrienne Curry won the first-ever season and later shared that Banks abandoned her after the win.
"After the show, Revlon informed me it didn't matter who won; they would never have us as a model. I cried & they felt bad. They had me sit in a makeup chair while six people watched a makeup artist put makeup on me for [money]." She claims she is still owed $15k.
Angelea Preston from season 14 compared the show to being in "prison." She elaborated. "There are times when we didn't get fed. We had to film straight through, 15, 18 hours without eating."
