Kourtney Kardashian Preaches 'Positivity And Love' Amid Shade From Shanna Moakler

Kourtney Kardashian has hit back at her husband, Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

The reality star updated her social media feed with a cryptic post after Moakler shaded her and her marriage to Barker on Thursday. This latest move comes on the heels of the Kardashian star receiving love from her stepdaughter — and Moakler's youngest daughter — on her most recent birthday.

The drama in the Kardashian-Barker family has continued to unravel, with Kardashian responding to Moakler's social media criticism. ICYMI, the "Joey" actress, had liked a comment under a glammed-up picture that she posted after the premiere of her ex and his new wife's wedding special, "Til Death Do Us Part."

The remark read, "I hope you get a huge apology someday for what was said on that exploitative, money-grabbing circus." The former Miss USA followed up with a second swipe at the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum, slamming the latter for posting "more of my kids than her own."

It also did not help that her daughter, Alabama, had nothing but good things to say about her famous stepmother when the latter marked her 44th birthday recently. The 17-year-old had praised the "Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami" star for being the "best stepmom" she could ask for, adding that the mother-of-three was "so caring and generous for others."

Barely 24 hours after the controversy went viral, Kardashian opted to take the spiritual road, pairing Mathew 6:1-18 with a lengthy statement that called out "criticism and hate and negativity" on her Instagram Story. 

"So much criticism and hate and negativity lately. Let's do better if not for the world, for yourself, for your children, for your friends and family. I promise the negativity and hate will not make you feel happier," the Lemme founder's loaded update read.

She noted that even though she knew that "the positive far outweighs the negative," it was "still hard to be aware of it," which resulted in it feeling "like every little action is criticized." 

The Poosh founder wrote, "Imagine the good we could do with that energy." At other points in the Story on a white background, she wrote, "❤️ spread positivity and love" and "Thoughts for the day."

Even though he spends most days showing off his wife online, Barker took things up a notch when her birthday rolled around on April 18. As reported by The Blast, the Blink-182 drummer shared a slew of photos that gave viewers an idea of their day-to-day lives together.

In true Barker style, the slide began with a shot of the rocker carrying his wife as they shamelessly locked lips on a green field. The celebrant, whose back was turned to the camera, wore a short collared dress while her beau paired his shirtless chest with baggy shorts and dark shades.

The following slide featured an adorable, sleeping Kardashian, and the third was a video of the lovebirds driving around town in a truck. Other images showed the "Kardashian Konfidential" co-author making funny faces, intensely locking eyes with her husband, and playing Connect Four. 

The "What's My Age Again?" musician wrapped up the post with a photo of his wife donning black pants that displayed some parts of her derrière as it featured a heart cutout in the middle. For his caption, Barker tapped into his emotional side and penned:

“My soulmate. I'm so grateful that today you were born. You deserve everything your heart desires. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you smile. You stole my heart the moment we met.”

The expressive gesture was not lost on his wife, who promptly stepped into the comments to type, "I'm crying because you make me so happy. I love you, my husband." Fans also felt the sweetness in the entertainer's post, with one commenting, "Goddamn you set the bar so high. The proper way to wish the woman you love a happy birthday."

Another person claimed, "we want a love like this," while others simply wished the eldest Kardashian a happy birthday.
