Shanna Moakler Shades Kourtney Kardashian While Daughter Alabama Praises Her

Shanna Moakler and her daughter are torn on their feelings for Travis Barker’s current wife, Kourtney Kardashian.

While the reality star’s stepdaughter, Alabama, gushed over her in a social media update shared recently, Travis’ ex-wife and the teen’s mother — expressed her displeasure with Kardashian during a chat with a fan. Both revelations came amid the outpour of love that the famous Kardashian member received on her birthday.

When Kardashian’s 44th birthday rolled around on April 18, Alabama was one of the many people who doted on her. The 17-year-old had taken to her Instagram Story to highlight what she loved about her stepmother, writing across an image of the celebrant sitting on Travis’ lap:

“You're the best stepmom I could ask for, you are so caring and generous for others, you are such a family person and such a hard working mom."

The teen then lauded the “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” alum for always putting others first, even on her worst days. She finished the tribute by pointing out that the Poosh founder had "such a beautiful aura,” which helped her in knowing that she did not “want another step mom."

Alabama followed the Story with a series of picture uploads that featured her posing with her father’s wife, including one of her flipping viewers off with the middle finger as Kardashian sipped tea. One other shot showcased the celebrant sitting on her husband’s lap and they all flipped viewers off. 

Despite the teen’s obvious love for the mother-of-three, her own mom had nothing good to say as she shaded her ex’s wife on social media. The moment came when Moakler uploaded a glammed-up image of herself following the premiere of Travis and Kardashian’s wedding special, “Til Death Do Us Part” last week.

As expected, fans brought up the episode in the comment section, with one stating, “I hope that you get a huge apology some day for what was said on that exploitative, money grabbing, circus.”

The netizen also pointed out some particular remarks made during the wedding, "'He's been through Hell,' 'Kourtney has filled a void for me,'" adding the hashtag, "parentalalienationawareness."

Moakler showed how much she agreed with the sentiment by liking it. However, things went a bit deeper when a second person chimed in, “Also kourtney wrote on twitter she's now a mom of 6,” referencing the three kids the socialite shares with Scott Disick — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — in addition to Travis and the 48-year-old’s three children — Atiana, Landon, and Alabama.

In response, Moakler stated, “she post more of my kids then [sic] her own lol.” This would not be the Rhode Island native’s first swipe at a Kardashian, as The Blast noted that she subbed Khloe last December.

At the time, a netizen had taken to the comments of a bathroom selfie the “Joey” star shared, claiming “Literally thought that was Khloe Kardashian!” It did not take long before the model retorted, “khloe doesn’t even look like khloe what are you people smoking lol.”

The remark received multiple likes, proving that Moakler’s fans agreeing with her declaration.

The former Miss USA titleholder showed off her affection for Alabama through a social media update that featured the teen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and sweatpants. Per The Blast, her long blonde tresses were styled into wavy curls that accentuated her perfectly made-up face.

The image, which was a four-framed collage of the budding star, striking different poses, came with the caption, “My little baddie… so beautiful.” Despite the awkwardness that her ex’s marriage to a Kardashian has brought to the family, Moakler has remained focused on bonding with Alabama.

In fact, a previous update unveiled her determination to build her daughter’s gaming skills. The mother-of-three had shared a photo of her baby girl sitting on a couch, donning a white and pink pajama-inspired ensemble with large headphones covering parts of her hair.

The reality star finished her pose by hiding her face behind her fingers as she threw up the peace sign. Across the picture’s overlay text, the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant penned, “I’m making a gamer out of her 😂😂😘 @alabamaluellabarker.”
