The outlet shared an image of the excited couple posing with the giant rock in full view via Instagram. In the caption, the cable channel wrote, "Yes! #LPBW couple Matt and Caryn are engaged."

Despite the comfortable setting, the comment section was divisive, with several people taking opposite sides. One fan effused, "Hope they have many years of happiness!! Congratulations on your engagement," and a second commented, "I have been waiting for this day. Congratulations to you both. Matt, you found yourself a great woman [sic]."

"Congratulations! You both deserve to be happy. She is such a sweet, kind lady," a third person penned. Meanwhile, others could not help but point out the problem with Chandler and Matt's union, with one stating, "Seems like she's only after money, reality TV fame, etc. & with his massive ego & selfishness; he just wants an average size "trophy" wife."

Another critic claimed, "No one cares. He picked her and the farm over his children. He's sickening. His kids deserve a better dad." Luckily, a few people came to the couple's defense as one person typed, "Everyone deserves to be happy. Amy moved on. So it's only right that Matt did too. It's called moving forward with life."

A second supporter declared that the "Little People, Big World" star was more "compatible" with Chandler than with his ex-wife, adding, "I think that Caryn appreciates Matt's creativity and lets him be who he is, and he lets her be who she is."

It is worth noting that Amy has moved on with real estate agent Chris Marek after they met at a single's sip and paint night. They got engaged in 2019 and walked down the aisle in a sweet ceremony held at Roloff Farms two years later. Meanwhile, Matt and Amy, who were married for over two decades, share four kids — twin sons Jeremy and Zach, daughter Molly, and son Jacob.

With the wedding bells ringing in the Roloff home, InTouch released an article detailing their relationship timeline. Per the outlet, Matt and Chandler disclosed to the world that they were an item during an episode of season 17 of "Little People, Big World." At the time, the 61-year-old entrepreneur stated:

"Caryn's been the farm manager on Roloff Farms for a number of years and we have a great working relationship. And we are officially dating."

He further shared that he had done "a lot of soul-searching" to determine what he "really wanted in life." And since this woman offered "great companionship," which he seemingly lacked with his first wife, he decided to give the relationship a shot.

It appeared he made the right choice as he and Chandler bought a home in Arizona in 2018, even though they still had their individual properties. As it turned out, Mattonly planned to stay in the new location for four months annually.

Things continued to move well for the lovebirds, and the mother-of-two hinted at the next phase of their lives when a producer asked if getting married soon was on either party's mind in 2021.

While Matt quipped that they would not be walking down the aisle until at least 2022, his then-girlfriend said, "We're not. He hasn't asked me." Regardless of their love, the duo's relationship has been plagued with tension and family drama.

Jeremy and Zach had speculated that Chandler played a part in their dad's refusal to sell part of his farm to them when they made offers. In May 2022, Zach and his wife Tori revealed during the show's season 23 premiere that they were estranged from Matt and Caryn.
