Actress Daisy Ridley and her husband Tom Bateman were photographed together enjoying a vacation in Ireland earlier this week.

The “Star Wars” alum met Bateman on the set of 2017’s “Murder on the Orient Express.” However, the two kept their relationship so private that no one knew they were married until Ridley slipped the news in a January 2023 interview with Rolling Stone while promoting her new film “Sometimes I Think About Dying” at the Sundance Film Festival.

Earlier this month, the “Ophelia” actress appeared in London at the 2023 Star Wars Celebration fan event, where she revealed that she would reprise her role as Rey in a new movie taking place fifteen years after “The Rise of Skywalker.”

However, it looks like she is now trying to get some well-deserved rest with her husband before shooting begins, as the two posed for photographs together in Ireland.

On April 7, Daisy Ridley appeared on stage at the 2023 Star Wars Celebration event in London to reveal that she would star in a new film helmed by “Ms. Marvel” filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. This film would be directing the next “Star Wars” film set fifteen years after the events of 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”

Obaid-Chinoy said her movie "will tell the story of rebuilding the new Jedi order” while Ridley told the audience, “I am very thrilled to be continuing this journey.” No other characters for the sequel trilogy have been confirmed to return at this time.

In a follow-up interview with Entertainment Weekly at Star Wars Celebration London, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy revealed a few more details about Ridley’s “Star Wars” movie and confirmed that the opening text crawl would be making a return.

Although it has made an appearance in most “Star Wars” movies to date, it was notably absent for standalone movies “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” However, Kennedy confirmed that “The crawl is for movies” and will make a return for films outside of the Skywalker Saga.

As for Ridley’s movie, specifically, Kennedy said that Lucasfilm wants to show the shape of the galaxy fifteen years after the First Order is defeated. “As we move into the future space — this story is about 15 years outside of The Rise of Skywalker — obviously we realized post-war, post–First Order rise of the New Jedi Order, we left episode 9 with Rey making a commitment to Luke Skywalker that she would rebuild the Jedi Order,” Kennedy said.

“And so here we are — we're ready to do that. And it took a lot of discussion because obviously we've been developing stories in different spaces, and television has been a big focus of our attention right now,” she continued. “But there's still so much interest in what happens after The Rise of Skywalker. So we're excited to be doing that.”

Kennedy also admitted, “It’s entirely possible to see some people come back” but no one else has been confirmed to return at this time.
