Cristiano Ronaldo Celebrates Twin Daughter Bella's 1st Birthday With Touching Tribute

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent out a very beautiful message to his youngest daughter Bella Esmeralda dos Santos Aveiro, who has turned one. 

He took to his social media accounts to express his adoration for his little girl who was born last year in what was a bittersweet moment for the former Manchester United striker and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. They were due to welcome twins but the other child, a son, sadly passed on during childbirth.

However, the beautiful tot turning one was not lost on the soccer legend as he wrote a special note to his little bundle of joy. 

The five-time Champions League winner, who is also the father to twins Eva Maria and Mateo, Alana Martina, and Cristiano Junior took to Instagram to commemorate his daughter Bella's first birthday. 

To do this, the proud father posted a heartwarming photo of himself holding Bella in his arms. From the photo, the father-daughter duo was seen lounging outdoors on a large sofa. 

The Portuguese icon had a big grin on his face while he rocked a white polo shirt and blue shorts. The celebrant was simply dressed in a cute outfit consisting of grey leggings, a long-sleeve white top, white socks, and a black cardigan. 

The touching snap was accompanied by a sweet caption, expressing his joy and love for his daughter. The message translates as follows: "Happy first year of life, my love. Daddy loves you very much!"  Many of his fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes and celebratory emoticons.

Losing one’s child is a situation that no parent wants to find themselves in. Ronaldo and his long-time partner Rodriguez lost their son Angel on April 18.

At the time of grief, the 38-year-old revealed the tragic news in an Instagram post writing, "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness."

The tear-jerking statement continued, "We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."

Katia Aveiro, the soccer player's sister was heartbroken over the news too so she dedicated a heartwarming tribute to her late nephew while praising her niece.  She wrote, "I love you and my heart is all there on this side…May God take care of everything and strengthen your path more and more."

Her statement continued, "Our little angel is already on her father’s lap,?   and our little girl who is here firm and strong and full of health will teach us more and more that only love matters."

Speaking to Elle Spain after the sad incident, the model described losing one of her children as one of intensely mixed feelings. She said, "This year has been the most complicated of my life, the happiest moment became both the saddest. It is something that will accompany me for life and that we will not be able to forget."

The mom of six further admitted that 2022 was the most “complicated” year of her life and one she “won’t forget.” Later in the interview, the reality star took a moment to gush over her children. She said she feels “lucky” for her “beautiful” family and they were the “most important” thing in her life. 

In the spirit of moving past the tragedy, the Portugal native shared a family photo with his newborn daughter shortly after sharing the news of his son's passing.

Partly, he wrote in the accompanying caption, “We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures. Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family. Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world. ??❤️??.”

Also, the soccer star posted a photo of himself cuddling his newborn daughter. Both father and daughter were shirtless with the tiny tot wearing on Pampers and a beanie. 

The former Real Madrid striker looked at his baby girl with so much affection and he captioned the sweet black-and-white photo, “Forever Love…❤️??.”
