Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss were recently embroiled in a cheating scandal. A report now reveals that the duo created fake names for each other to keep their affair hidden from Sandoval's long-time girlfriend, Ariana Madix.

In a podcast interview, Sandoval claimed that Madix turned a blind eye to the affair probably because she "trusted him." He also shared that the public backlash has given him a moment to reflect on everything.

According to a report, Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss did all they could to keep their affair hidden from his former girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, even resorting to creating fake names for each other on their phones. The source told TMZ that the code name was Sandoval's idea, and Leviss willingly went along with it.

As the insider revealed, the names they chose for each other were shockingly basic, with Sandoval saving Leviss's number under the alias "Jamie" in his phone. However, it remains unknown what she saved his name on her phone.

Surprisingly, some of the couple's close friends were aware of the fake names, and Sandoval openly referred to Leviss as "Jamie" in front of them, a risky move that could have easily blown their cover. However, Madix never discovered the code names during their secret romance, but reportedly, she knows about them now.

During his recent appearance on Howie Mandel's podcast, the "Vanderpump Rules" star opened up about the cheating scandal, which fans have dubbed "Scandoval."

In the nearly hour-and-a-half interview, Sandoval made a surprising claim saying his affair with "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Leviss was visible to Madix, but she chose to turn a blind eye to it. "She had heard things and seen things about Raquel but was very much turning a blind eye or just trusting me, I guess," he said.

The 39-year-old also expressed his surprise at the buzz and attention the drama had received and shared that he is now taking time to reflect on the situation.

"I'm finally getting time to start to reflect on the situation because I never thought I would get myself in a situation like this. Never dreamed of it," Sandoval said. "I worked too hard for my image, for my business, for my integrity ... but it just happened."

In March, the news of Sandoval and Madix's breakup after nine years together sent shockwaves through social media, with Sandoval's affair scandal with Leviss being the reason behind their split. Sandoval took to Instagram shortly after the news broke, expressing deep remorse and apologizing to Madix for his "reckless decisions that had hurt someone I love."

In a lengthy post, he acknowledged the pain Madix must have experienced, both privately and publicly. "I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that," Sandoval wrote in his apology. "My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends."

The reality star concluded his apology by committing to reflection and self-improvement. "I will continue to reflect and work on myself. I have work to do. I always have, and I always will," he stated.

Although she has yet to confirm her new relationship status, Madix seems to be living her best life with a potential new romance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The 37-year-old star attended the Celsius Oasis Vibe launch party on Friday, April 13, alongside her co-stars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, as well as a group of friends. Madix shared a series of snaps on social media, posing alongside a mystery man who was dressed in a blue two-piece outfit.

The duo's closeness in the photos immediately sparked speculation about a budding romance. This rumor was further fueled when Madix posted a picture of herself holding hands with her companion during the Celsius event on her Instagram Story.

As a result, fans have begun to suspect that Madix has moved on from her ex, Sandoval. However, Madix has yet to confirm or comment on the status of her romantic life.
