Nick Cannon might not remember his daughter, but LaNisha Cole is not making the same mistake!

The model is infamously known for birthing the multi-hyphenate star's ninth child, an adorable daughter named Onyx Ice Cole. Although the pair happily welcomed the baby girl in September 2022, the former couple's relationship has seemingly gone sour.

The situation appears to have worsened following the Nickelodeon alum's failed attempt to list the names of his twelve children. After omitting Onyx's name in the now-viral interview, the girl's mother shared a vague post about love and life.

In a recent Instagram Story update, "The Price Is Right" model shared a series of posts that seemingly addressed Cannon's omission of their daughter's name. The first slide was a rare video of Onyx in her home.

The clip captured the little angel dressed casually in a grey top and black trousers, both designed with cute illustrations. The little girl stood upright, supported by the couch behind her, as she took in her environment.

Cole captioned the precious moment with a declaration of eternal love for her daughter. "My whole world… the most beautiful little girl," the mother raved. "I will do everything I can every single day to make sure she knows how special she is and how much I love and adore her."

The "A Beautiful Soul" actress concluded her message with her daughter's name and a red heart emoji. Following this video came a subtle diss at Cannon via a message about moving forward after making the wrong choices.

The 41-year-old began by noting it was "not normal" for one's life to happen in front of an audience. However, she accepted that we lived in the social media age and wished the public would understand that nobody was perfect.

Presumably referencing her relationship with the "Drumline" actor, the media personality explained that people are not above making mistakes in life. Nonetheless, the important thing was to learn and move on. The Pasadena native penned:

"No person's path is linear. There's going to be blind curves, peaks, valleys, and sometimes we make wrong turns or run into dead ends. Simply correct course and get back on your forward-moving path."

The "Deal or No Deal" briefcase model confessed that she prayed for "strength, guidance, and peace" daily and declared she would overcome any trial because: "God's got me, and I've got Onyx."

"To all the moms out there… take care of your heart with the same love and patience you have for your babies. It's not always easy, but we were built for this," the entertainer concluded her post, adding three red heart emojis.

Emphasizing her disinterest in Cannon's recent failure as a parent, Cole shared a picture of her beautiful family. While the "All That" star made babies with other women, his ninth child seems to have a steady father figure.

In the image, the "Watch Over Me" actress radiated happiness as she posed next to Brian Paul Kuba, a man who frequently appears on the TV personality's social media page. The couple smiled brightly as Onyx looked at home in Kuba's warm embrace.

According to the attached caption, the trio had stepped out to celebrate the child's "7 months" birthday. Judging from the picture's background, the family visited an art gallery, which could have been Cole's Santa Monica studio.

During an appearance on Howard Stern's eponymous radio show, Cannon attempted to mention his children's names according to their birthdays. The "Gigolo" rapper began with his oldest kids, Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with the renowned songstress Mariah Carey.

Next came the TV personality's two children with Brittany Bell, Golden, and Powerful, followed by his late son Zen, whom he welcomed with Alyssa Scott. Then came Legendary Love, his child with Bre Tiesi, and 6-month-old Rise — whom he shares with Bell.

However, Stern interrupted to let the San Diego native know he had skipped a child's name. Trying to right the error, Cannon accidentally repeated Powerful's name before adding the names of other daughters, Beautiful and Halo.

This terrible mistake caused the radio veteran to mention Onyx's name, to which the father-of-twelve lamented: "Ah, no! You know, I did. You threw me off because I was going in order!"
