Demi Lovato Reveals Upcoming Album Might Be 'A Bunch Of Sappy Love Songs'

Demi Lovato has entered a genuinely happy phase in her life that will likely affect the sound of her next album. 

The 30-year-old pop star, currently in a relationship with Independent singer Jutes, adopted the emo genre for her eighth studio album "Holy Fvck." The top-charting hard-rock album saw her return to her rock-influenced roots, and it, for sure, kept fans wanting more. 

However, when speaking on what is coming next, the "Skyscraper" artist tested that she has "no idea" what she is going to write about on her next music project because she is "so happy."

In an interview with CBS Mornings, the "Substance" singer talked about her soon-to-come ninth studio album. She shared how peaceful she has become, even pointing out that her state of mind might influence her songwriting. Lovato commented, "I am in a perfect place. I'm so happy. I don't know what I will write about on my next album. It is an excellent feeling, but I don't know what I will do." 

Soon after, the hitmaker added that heavy-themed romance songs might factor into the future project. "A bunch of sappy love songs — for sure."

Minutes into the interview, the "Heart Attack" singer spoke about returning to her base with" Holy Fvck." "I wanted to go back to my roots; whether you're going through a depression or having fun with your friends, there are so many emotions e in this music." In the chat, the musician stated, "I think that this generation is hungry for it."

Later on, the "Barney & Friends" child actor highlighted the beautiful aspects of the genre as opposed to its dark sound and theme. Lovato clarified that emo music encircles a variety of emotions. "Whether it was angst, falling in love, or sadness, I always made music to inspire others while also doing what I love." 

The songwriter's inclination to bubbly songs is legible, given her relationship with the Canadian indie rocker is at its all-time best. Last week, the lovebirds packed on some PDA action at the Lakers game. 

Lovato filmed herself with her beau during the basketball game and uploaded all clips on her Instagram Story. The first post began with the lovers touching each other's faces. The beaming couple gestured at the camera and then turned to lock lips twice. 

Another post showed an enthusiastic female fan of the entertainer in the bleachers raising a placard that read "I [heart sign] Demi." Also, some other fans standing nearby waved at the star with excitement. The upload was captioned, "I love y'all sm," followed by three teary-eyed emojis.

Last month, as the "Happy Ending" co-writer celebrated another year on earth, his girlfriend serenaded him with remarks of love and admiration. For the special milestone, the two-time Grammy nominee shared a slew of photos with a written reminder that he was her "Literal dream man."

The first image showed the celebrant kissing his girlfriend on the cheek. Following that was an image of a smiling Jutes, who was shirtless in bed. The third pic unveiled the lovebirds kissing by the poolside. 

In the caption, the "Camp Rock" actress wished her beau a happy birthday and revealed that she loved all aspects of him. "My sweet angel – it's officially your birthday!!! I couldn't be more excited to celebrate you because I couldn't be more in love with your gorgeous, funny, sexy, talented self."

She continued, "I've waited my whole life to find you, and I can't wait to celebrate so many more birthdays together.. you're a literal dream come true, and I'm so grateful to call you mine. Have the best birthday, my love. You deserve it, the world, and more!!!! Here's to many more 🥰🥰🖤🖤🎂🎂💫💫 I LOVE YOU 😘😘😘"

Lovato treated Jutes to an intimate celebration which he shared in his Story. The lovebirds had dinner at an undisclosed restaurant, and the birthday boy showed the goodies he got from his woman, including a candle-lit cake with "Happy Birthday Jordan" written on it.
