As The Blast earlier covered, the mom of one took to Instagram to share the update. She started by informing ardent followers of the program when season 14 would air. However, she followed up with the sad news. "Food Network canceled us last summer, and I have no idea why," Bertinelli said.

"I didn't say anything last summer because I was hoping they would change their mind, but they have not, so this is it. This is the final season." The loved cook emotionally disclosed her love for creating the show, describing it as "a dream come true" that has brought her "so much joy."

Bertinelli continued dropping insightful words, "No matter how bad the storm is when that blue sky comes out and you kind of break through the crap, it's so beautiful, it's just so beautiful, and it almost makes the storm worth it."

She added, "Yeah, the storm is worth it. Because you learn so much, you come out the other side, and you're like, 'Hey, I'm my knight in shining armor. I got through it.'"

At the end of the message, she said, "You get through one hundred percent of the days you never think you're gonna get through, right, think about that.'"
