Ryan Seacrest recently announced he will be exiting from "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan" after almost six years. It was also announced that Kelly Ripa's husband and "Riverdale" star Mark Consuelos will join his wife as the new co-host.

As this is Seacrest's last week on the morning talk show, he decided to say goodbye to his "LIVE" family by hosting a farewell dinner.

The "American Idol" host held a farewell dinner for the entire cast and crew of "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan". During the dinner, Seacrest got up and made a toast, thanking everyone for their support and for allowing him to be a part of the "LIVE" family.

"For those of you who can't see me in the back, I am standing right now," Seacrest jokingly said to start his speech. "Welcome to this evening, it's so nice to see our 'LIVE' family and our family's family," he continued.

"There really is no other place in our business like the 'LIVE' show," he added as the place erupted with applause.

The morning talk show host went on to list the things he will miss, including the iconic "red herrings", the Monica Mangin segments, and the Halloween show.

Fans loved his speech, which was shared on Instagram, as many called him a class act. "Drop the mic, class act from start to finish! ♥️," one user wrote as another chimed in, "Class act. Hardest working man in the business, it seems."

As a third commented, "Class act! You will be so missed! Good luck on all your endeavors! I look forward to hearing you get married and have children! You will be a great day; love how you are with Flora!"

Ryan Seacrest announced he would be leaving the show via an Instagram post, which was shared on February 16, 2023 “I’m going to miss my work wife and all the laughter we share,” he captioned a series of Instagram photos of him and his Live co-host, Kelly Ripa, over the years. “When I signed on to host Live in 2017 it was meant to be for 3 years, but I loved the job and working with Kelly so much that I extended my time and last year I made the decision to stay on for one more final season. I’ve been grateful to be able to share a cup of coffee with our viewers everyday, one of the best parts of the gig.”

“I’ll be transitioning out of Live this Spring to shoot the 21st season of American Idol in LA, continue my radio show on KIIS-FM and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve, and focus my summer on opening three more Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios in pediatric hospitals across the country,” he continued to write. “I’m looking forward to coming back to guest host in the future and Kelly, I promise to forever share my food photos, chicken eggs, and olive oil with you. And congratulations to my brother Mark, feel free to remodel my dressing room!”
