Lottie Moss is backtracking on her tattoo decision!

Just a few months after inking her face with the word, 'Lover,' Moss has opened up about her latest resolve to have it lasered off. The model impulsively got the permanent ink after she had too much to drink during a vacation trip she took with some of her friends to Bali.

Lottie Moss Is Ready To Let Go Of The Negative Time In Her Life By Removing Her Face Tattoo

Even though she previously defended getting 'Lover' tattooed on her left cheek the morning after it happened, Moss has finally resolved to remove it. Per Daily Mail, the 25-year-old has informed her close pals that she is following through on a laser tattoo removal process, hoping that erasing the tat will kickstart a new phase for her. In the words of the outlet's source:

"Lottie is planning to have laser tattoo removal. She fully embraced her Lover inking, but now she just wants it gone and has been covering it up with makeup for events and photo shoots."

The insider added that the tattoo pointed to a time in the OnlyFans star's life when she "wasn't as strong." However, with her dedication to start "a new chapter," she wanted the tattoo, "which is a reminder of a darker time, removed for good."

The decision comes four months after Moss got the inking, signifying that she is taking her journey to remain sober and clean seriously. Just before the source spilled the tea, the model was spotted at the PrettyLittleThing showroom launch held in London on Wednesday night.

For the event, she opted to cover up her face tattoo with foundation, claiming to her social media followers that it gave her a "classier vibe." She also paired a black leather jacket, a white summer dress, and black pointed heels.

When she got the ink, the half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss explained that "spending time with like-minded people – and learning to love me again" while in Bali spurned the decision to do it. "Yes, it was impulsive, but after years of being so controlled, it was my way of expressing that I am free. I'm no longer controlled," she explained further.

The Calvin Klein Ad Queen Addresses Her Struggles In The Modeling Industry

Last December, The Blast observed that Moss opened up about the trauma she got from constantly getting body shamed and living in her more famous half-sister's shadow, amongst other things.

After recounting how she landed in the modeling industry at 13, she admitted that it was difficult to have "someone 'close' to you doing the same job as you, who's already very prominent in the industry, but not having any advice or guidance."

Dealing with that while being expected to look a certain way and training five times a week to gain weight to fit the measurements required for the Fashion Week runway fast-tracked her depressive bouts.

She began skipping gigs and eventually quit modeling professionally in 2021 when the pressure to show up became too much. What came next for the Storm Management signee was a foray into OnlyFans through her best pal, Sahara Ray.

The British celeb explained why she joined the content subscription service, saying, "For me, it was about finding something where I could finally be myself and not only feel comfortable – which I hadn't at work for so long – but feel empowered, too."

The Vogue cover model expressed that even though several people frowned against OnlyFans, it was the one place she felt "empowered and safe." As for alcohol problems, Moss announced in February 2022 that she had checked herself into a rehabilitation facility.

She showed off her eye-catching pink hairdo in a video posted to TikTok that showed her singing along as Labrinth's 2019 single, "Mount Everest," played in the background. "When everyone's glamorising droog taking, but you're literally in r3h4b," was written in the text overlay at the top of the clip.

She intentionally misspelled "drug" and "rehab" to stop TikTok from flagging or removing the posts. Even though she did not mention how long she would be in rehab, she did hint that the HBO hit drama series, "Euphoria" played a role in her problem, writing, "I think I took euphoria too literally u, guys ?."
