Gabi Elnick was one of three women remaining on Zach Shallcross's season of 'The Bachelor" going into Fantasy Suite week.
Going into Fantasy Suite week, Shallcrosss decided to make a "no sex" rule as he wanted to focus more on the emotional side of the relationships rather than the physical in an attempt not to let things get messy one week before a potential engagement.
However, things did not go as planned, as Shallcross broke his rule after having admitted sleeping with Elnicki. Not only did he break his power, he then went on to "kiss and tell" as he opened up to host Jesse Palmer and another contestant, Kaity Biggar.
Gabi Elnicki Talks Feeling 'Violated' By Zach Shallcross
"The Bachelor" runner-up Gabi Elnicki is opening up, admitting she is "still getting over" her relationship with Zach Shallcross.
"I'm not somebody that holds grudges towards people. I don't hold resentment. I don't hold anger... [but] I'm hurting a little bit still," she told Kaitlyn Bristowe on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast. "Do I think I will be, like, pals with Zach? No. Am I still angry and hurt? Absolutely."
"But he is going to marry one of my close friends, hopefully, and I plan to stay in Kaity [Biggar] 's life," she continued. "And, you know, for me to hold hate towards him and anger and resentment -- I'm hoping I can let that go at some point."
The "Bachelor" star continued to open up, admitting she still feels "violated" after Shallcross told the world that he had sex with her during Fantasy Suite week. "I do think that, at this point, I still feel violated," she continued on the podcast. "And I'm still getting over all of it... I do not feel lovable. It was a deep and painful rejection on such a public platform."
Kaity Biggar Says Her and Gabi Elnicki Will Remain, Friends,
Kaity Biggar recently went onto the "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast, where she was asked if she and fellow contestant Gabi Elnicki would remain friends, to which she quickly replied, "Oh yeah! We've already had trips together! We've been to Florida. A lot of the girls came to Austin for the premiere."
She and Elnicki, along with Ariel Frenkel, who came in third on this season, and two other "The Bachelor" 27 contestants — Jess Girod and Mercedes Northup — are all planning to visit Miami, Florida together for a girl's trip at the end of April.
"We're all very tight," she said on the podcast. "I have excellent relationships with quite a few of the girls, but I would say my closest that I could foresee being at the wedding would be Ariel, for sure."
"She's been a huge supporter and always there for me throughout this," she continued. "Gabi, she and I are excellent friends. And Jess and Mercedes, for sure. Those are my girls."
Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar got engaged on the finale of "The Bachelor" and remain together to this day. After the finale aired, Shallcross spoke out on his love for Biggar and how she was always a frontrunner in his eyes.
"She, from the beginning, was someone that just exuded everything I was looking for — that kindness, that loving, funny, sweet, independent, beautiful person," Shallcross told PEOPLE. "I always felt so pulled and attracted to her, and she was someone that throughout the entire process, it was becoming so easy in my mind that this person is my future and I want to do life with her. I fell in love with her and was like, 'I can't lose her. She's mine.'"
